DragChamp Top 10 List
1 – Kyle Bigley
Kyle Bigley grabs the #1 spot this week after winning $50,000 at the the Jim Harrington Bracket Nationals. Kyle defeated Jesse Alberts in the main event final round to collect the big check.
2 – Joey Shipp
Joey Shipp jumps to the two spot this week after just missing the double at the JEGS Sportsnationals at National Trail Raceway. Shipp parked his Super Gasser in the winners circle and made the final round in Super Street to earn a Top 10 spot this week.
3 – Mike Fornwalt
Mike Fornwalt crushed the No-Box class at the Jim Harrington Bracket Nationals after racing to a win, a runner-up, and a semifinal showing at the big money bracket race.
4 – Randy Biddle Jr.
RBJ continues to make a case for the Racer of the Year title after another strong showing at the MotorMile. Biddle added a Top ET win and a No-Box runner-up to his impressive final round tally for 2022.
5 – Dan Northrop
Dan Northrop snagged a Top 5 spot this week after collecting a huge $20,000 payday at Numidia.
5 – Stace Shrawder
Stace Shrawder joined Northrop in the Top 5 this week after he won the Sunday $20,000 main event at Numidia Dragway.
6 – Joe Graves
Joe Graves has enjoyed a successful two week run which began with winning a Wally last weekend at the Rocky Mountain Nationals. He followed that with a $5,000 Top Eliminator victory this past weekend.
7 – Cooper Chun
Cooper Chun lands in the lucky 7 spot this week after making three finals last week and winning twice. Chun won Super Pro on Wednesday and runnered-up in his Mustang. Over the weekend, he added another victory in his dragster to cap off a successful week of racing.
8 – Jason Padd
Jason Padd, one of the most successful big money bracket racers in Canada, made two finals over the weekend to secure a Top 10 showing. Padd won the Saturday $5K and added a runner-up showing on Sunday to earn his way on the list.
9 – Kris Whitfield
Kris Whitfield practically owns Bandimere Speedway and last weekends Mile-High Nationals proved this point. Whitfield, a 16 time track champion, won his 3rd NHRA national event title at the Mile-High’s when he drove to the win in Super Gas. It was his first national event win in Super Gas which added to his two Super Comp victories at the famed event. In addition to his success last weekend, just a week earlier, Whitfield raced to a win and a runner-up at Bandimere.
10 – Kyle Gockley
Kyle Gockley closes out the Top 10 List this week after winning three times in two weeks at Maple Grove Raceway. Gockley’s win streak included back-to-back victories in the No-Box class.
