1 – Nick Hastings

After a somewhat quite first half of the racing season, Nasty Nick Hastings returned to the spot light at the BTE 250K this past weekend. Nick rolled to the $100,000 payday in the main event on Saturday night. He continued rolling on Sunday where we was doubled at six cars and ran himself. He finished the day with a runner-up in the $10K. In addition to his success over the weekend, Nick started the weekend with a semifinal finish in the Thursday Gamblers race.

2 – Will Holloman

Will Holloman jumped back into the spotlight this week after cashing for $40K at the $40 Grand Nationals in Norwalk. Holloman, a DragChamp Pro member, outlasted a large field of over 400 cars to claim the prestigious event win.

3 – Gage Burch

Gage Burch showed out in Bristol last week. The talented Florida based racer won the Thursday Gamblers race after being doubled at four cars. He defeated Nick Hastings in the semi’s in one entry and lost to Lucas Walker in the other. In the $5K final, Burch took out Walker for the W. The following evening Gage made a semifinal showing in the $10K as well.

4 – Bryce Self

The King of I-30 Dragway Bryce Self rolled to yet another win at the North Dallas facility on Saturday night. Self drove his 4.3x dragster to the $20K victory over Tova Marshall at the CP Racing Promotions Labor Day Racer Appreciation event. Bryce practically owns this track as he consistently finds himself in the winners circle. His payday on Saturday night was by far his biggest win at I-30.

4 – Peeps Pennington

The Peep Show cashed for $20 grand Sunday night at I-30 Dragway. Peeps stopped Koy Collier, who was doubled at six cars, in the final round to add another big money race win to his already impressive collection.

5 – Chad Bacon

Chad Bacon grabs a top five spot this week after running himself in a $5K final at Onawa Dragway. Bacon took the win and runner-up in the Labor Day Payday $5K.

6 – Phil Harvey

Phil Harvey had a great weekend at the Bracket Super Tour at Luskville Dragway in Canada. Harvey doubled up winning a $5K and a $5K 32-car Shootout on the same day!

7 – Todd McKinney

The most emotional victory of the weekend had to go to Todd McKinney. After losing his son in a tragic accident earlier this season, Todd made final rounds at Bristol on back-to-back weekends. After a runner-up the previous weekend at the DER bracket series, McKinney raced to the Friday $10K final at the BTE Labor Day 250K. There he stopped Scooter Hamlin to claim his first race win since his son’s passing. There was not a dry eye on the property in Bristol after his emotional victory and subsequent interview.

8 – Terry Holloway

Terry Holloway doubled up in the Bike class at the NHRA Division 6 Bracket Finals. Holloway won the Race of Champions and the Bracket Final main event to earn the #8 spot this week.

9 – JP Schuster

JP Schuster has enjoyed a successful summer. After a runner-up in the Derby City $100K last month and a $7,500 race win a few weeks ago, Schuster raced to a $15K victory at the $40 Grand Nationals Friday night.

10 – Cooper Chun

DragChamp Pro member Cooper Chun has been on a tear lately. He’s made multiple Top 10 showings after consistently winning multiple times a week after the last couple of months. This past weekend Cooper won the NHRA D6 bracket finals and will now have a chance to compete for the national championship next month in Vegas. In addition, he locked up two track championships!
