4th Annual Independence Showdown Comes to Maple Grove

MOHNTON, PA- Mark your calendars for the FRBR Promotions 4th Annual Ken’s Kustom Chassis Independence Showdown presented by Daryl Tillman Realty Group at Maple Grove Raceway June 30 – July 2, 2023. This event will feature Triple $10K’s for Top Bulb, Triple $5K’s for No-Box, Triple $1K’s for Junior Dragsters, Saturday night Shootouts, pit vehicle race, Dash for Cash, and more!

C2 Competition Top Bulb- Triple $10K’s!

In C2 Competition Converters & Machining Top Bulb, racers can compete for $10,000 each day. The runner-up finishers will earn $2,000 and the semi-finalists will win $1,000. There will be $100 round money starting with 4th round losers. The weekend entry will be $450 and gets you three opportunities to win $10,000! The single-day entry is $170 and there will be a first round re-entry available for $100.

RoadRunner Race Fuels No-Box- Triple $5K’s!

No-Box competitors will race all three days for $5,000-to-win. The runner-up finisher will win $1,000 and the semi-finalists will earn $500. There will be $60 round money beginning 4th round losers. The full weekend entry fee will be $300 and the single day entry fee is $120. The 1st round re-entry will be available for $60.

Greiner Bros Heating & Cooling Junior Dragster- Triple $1K’s!

Junior Dragster racers will run for $1,000 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The Runner-up will earn $300 and the semi-finalists will win $120. There will be $30 Round Money started 4th round loser. The weekend entry fee will be $180 and a single day entry will be $80. First round re-entry will be $30.

Blittersdorf’s Automotive Saturday Shootouts

The Blittersdorf’s Automotive Saturday Shotoouts are back for 2023! Shootout rules include no doubles in same class and no buybacks. In Top & No-Box, you’ll win your money back with a 3rd round win and in Juniors, you’ll win your money back with a 2nd round win.

Top Bulb 64 Shootout- $2,500

The Top Bulb 64-Car Shootout will be $2,500-to-win with runner-ups claiming $700. The entry fee will be $100.

No-Box 64 Shootout- $2,500

For the No-Box 64-Car Shootout, it will also be $2,500-to-win and runner-ups will earn $700. The entry fee is also $100.

Junior Dragster 32 Shootout- $500

In the Junior Dragster 32-Car Shootout, it will be $500-to-win and runner-ups will take home $200. The entry fee is $50.

Event Extras!

On Friday, there will be a Dash for Cash and a BNM Performance $500-to-win Pit Vehicle Race. Saturday will feature a Racer Appreciation Dinner presented by Safeco Insurance.

Diamond State Digital will be live streaming the event and Competitive Suspension & JRI Shocks will be the livestream sponsor.

Schedule

Parking will open at 5pm and close at 9pm on Thursday night. On Friday, gates will open at 7am with time trials beginning at 9am and eliminations to follow. The pit vehicle race will be Friday night as well. On Saturday, gates open once again at 7am with new entry time trials at 9:00am (new combination only) and eliminations beginning at 9:30am. The racer appreciation dinner will start at 6pm with Saturday shootouts to follow. Sunday gates will open at 7am with new entry time runs to begin at 8:30am and eliminations to get underway at 9am.

Crew members will be $15 per day or $40 for the full weekend. Kids 12 & Under are FREE.
