Bradenton Holds 2023 NHRA Points Season Opener

Twenty-two winners were crowned at Bradenton Motorsports Park’s The Gun Shoppe NHRA Points Weekend Season Opener.

BRADENTON, FL- Bracket Racing is back in full swing at Bradenton Motorsports Park! This past weekend, January 21-22, 2023 they held their The Gun Shoppe NHRA Points Season Opener. The two-day event featured numerous bracket racing classes which included: FTI Super Pro, Lakeland Cadillac Pro ET, Sportsman, Pro Cycle, Jr. Street, and Jr. Dragsters.

The next The Gun Shoppe NHRA Points Weekend will be February 18-19, 2023.

Saturday Results

FTI Super Pro

Kenny Underwood picked up the Saturday FTI Super Pro final round win over Jeff Serra.

Lakeland Cadillac Pro ET

In Saturday’s Lakeland Cadillac Pro ET, Danielle Mocny earned the final round win over Chris Gorris.

Sportsman

Jeff Mohler claimed the Saturday Sportsman win over Mickey Pearce.

Pro Cycle

Mike Moore Jr. captured the Saturday Pro Cycle win over Mike Mocny.

Jr. Street

In Saturday;s Jr. Street class, Maya Krone picked up the final win light over Matthew Peterson.

Advanced Jr. Dragster

Matthew Peterson captured the Saturday Advanced Jr. Dragster win over Jude Kersnason.

Intermediate Jr. Dragster

Tanner Mocny earned himself the Saturday Intermediate Jr. Dragster win over Lily Kersnason.

Novice Jr. Dragster

In Saturday’s Novice Jr. Dragster class, Bryce Troupe picked up the win over Caden Starr.

Advanced Jr. Dragster Second Chance

Klein Simpson claimed the Saturday Advanced Jr. Dragster Second Chance win over Alissa Fargo.

Intermediate Jr. Dragster Second Chance

Briella Browning picked up the Saturday Intermediate Jr. Dragster Second Chance win over Carson Murphrey.

Novice Jr. Dragster Second Chance

Coltin Lindquist claimed the Saturday Novice Jr. Dragster Second Chance win over Brielle Dixon.

In Sunday’s FTI Super Pro class, Steve Witherow earned the final round win over Jeff Keen.

Lakeland Cadillac Pro ET

Dan Bouldry took home the Lakeland Cadillac Pro ET win over Travis Logan on Sunday.

Jacob Waibel captured the Sunday Sportsman win over Brandon Williams.

Pro Cycle

In Sunday’s Pro Cycle class, Roy Hagadorn claimed the final round win over Dan Corbosiero.

Jr. Street

Dylan MacNicol picked up the Sunday Jr. Street win over Saturday’s Jr. Street winner, Maya Krone.

Advanced Jr. Dragster

Dylan MacNicol also drove to victory in Sunday’s Advanced Jr. Dragster class. Hailey Shook was the runner-up.

Intermediate Jr. Dragster

Cameron Rich earned himself the Sunday Intermediate Jr. Dragster win over his FTI Farm Teammate, Molly Banger.

Novice Jr. Dragster

Tyler Biddle picked up the Sunday Novice Jr. Dragster win over Kylie Mocny.

Advanced Jr. Dragster Second Chance

Jude Kersnason claimed the Sunday Advanced Jr. Dragster Second Chance win over Giuliana Edelmann.

Intermediate Jr. Dragster Second Chance

Brooklyn Collins earned herself the Sunday Intermediate Jr. Dragster Second Chance win over Sedona Gotsis.

Novice Jr. Dragster Second Chance

Brielle Dixon picked up her first career win in the Sunday Novice Jr. Dragster Second Chance race. Bryce Troupe was the runner-up finisher.
