HARTSVILLE, SC- On Friday evening, the SFG Promotions team crowned the final winner of the weekend, Kevin Brannon. Brannon picked up the win after defeating Michael Paschal in the combined Friday & Saturday $50K races to make it a big $100,000 payday.
In the semi-final round, Brannon and Paschal were joined by Jon Siegel and Tyler Mosley.
Kevin Brannon took on Jon Siegel on the door car side. Siegel turned it -.004 to hand the win over to Brannon who was .010 up front and ran a 5.440 on his 5.43 dial-in.
Michael Paschal took on Tyler Mosley. Paschal laid down a nasty .001 total to make Mosley mathematically ineligible at the hit. He was .000 dead 1 on his 4.47 dial-in.
In the finals, Brannon was .007 and ran a 5.45 on his 5.43 dial-in to clinch the trophy. Paschal had to switch cars due to the rear end breaking in his, and he missed the tree at the hit to give KB the easy road to the winners circle.
ABOUT SFG PROMOTIONS, INC: SFG is the brainchild of racer and promoter, Kyle Riley. “I had a vision to offer racers the chance to race for big money that the average racer could not afford, but I give God all the credit for the idea because it was sent from God,” states Riley (SFG stands for Sent From God). Riley adds, “until SFG came about, your average racer couldn’t afford the chance to run for $50k or $100k because it was out of their price range.
I wanted your everyday bracket racer to know what it feels like to stage up for that kind of money. A lot of people think I’m crazy, but I’ve always felt it’s better to give than to receive. The racers have really supported SFG in its first years, so I want to show them that I really appreciate their support so I raised the payouts and lowered the entry fees. Everyone will see the better SFG does, the more the racer will benefit from our success.”
