Champions Crowned at 3rd Annual Lil’ Bucks Hootenanny

Winners were crowned champions over the weekend at Dragway 42 during the 3rd Annual Lil’ Bucks Hootenanny.

WEST SALEM, OH – The 3rd Annual Lil’ Bucks Hootenanny concluded over the weekend where the Yaeger brothers gave it their all to put on yet another great event. Racers traveled from all over in hopes of finding the winners circle, with a record setting 500+ entries showing up for the weekend.

The event ran from Thursday-Sunday where champions were crowned all throughout the weekend in Box, No-Box, Bikes, and Junior Dragsters.

Thursday

Dennis Rock defeated Lisa Boes to pick up the Poor Man’s Gamblers Race win.

Jeff Pishner was the semi-finalist.

Friday

Box

Jeff Hura defeated Carson Nealey to pick up the first win of the weekend.

No-Box

Michael Underwood defeated Nick Scheckelhoff to pick up the No-Box check.

Saturday

Box

Chris Fleenor defeated Randy Scheuer Jr. in the final round to pick up Saturday’s big check.

Taylor Young was victorious over Rick Cole Jr. in the final round.

Super Bike Shootout

Bradley Shellhaas defeated David Liguori in the final round to take home the trophy.

Junior Dragsters

Sam Harvanek defeated Ryan Roberts in the final round.

Mark Cook picked up the last check of the weekend over Dave Braskett in the final round.

No-Box

Michael Underwood defeated Zach Beasaw in the final round to pick up the Sunday No-Box win.

Super Bike Shootout

Scott Sheppeard defeated Nick Christmas in the final round to take home the trophy.

Junior Dragsters

Kyle Hughes defeated Cadence Soucek in the final round.

Megan Bohannon is a 25 year old Super Comp racer from Louisville, Kentucky. She races a 2015 American Dragster with a 648 Oakley Motorsports Engine. Growing up at the racetrack, drag racing is all she has known and never plans to give up on it.
