McCurry & Steckley Get Paid at the Money Maker

McCurry, Johnson, Steckley, and Jensen scored wins at the Mid-Michigan Motorplex Money Maker Series race.

STANTON, MI- Mid Michigan Motorplex held one of their Money Maker series races over the weekend where No Box racers were put in the spotlight. The event on June 9-10, 2023 featured two-days of bracket racing and featured Box and No Box classes. No Box paid $2K on Friday and $7K on Saturday. Box racers also competed for $1,200 on Friday and $2,700 on Saturday. The next Money Maker series event at Mid-Michigan Motorplex will be July 21-23, 2023.

No Box $2K

Greg McCurry picked up the Friday $2K No Box final round win over Ron Smith.

Box $1,200-to-win

In Friday’s Box class, Jimmy Johnson claimed the $1,200 win over Lane Ledford.

Saturday Results

No Box $7K

In Saturday’s $7K No Box class, Will Steckley earned the final round win over Kelly Smith.

Box $2,700-to-win

Jason Jensen defeated Gene Reynolds in Saturday’s $2,700-to-win Box class.
