GREENBRIER, TN- Earlier this month, Blake Richardson and Josh Lynch came together and held their RBZ Billet Practice Tree Nationals on January 14, 2023. The highly anticipated event featured a $4,000-to-win Main Event, two $5,000 64-racer shootouts, and a $250-to-win Women’s Shootout. With 564 entires in the main event and most of them made up of heavy hitters from the bracket racing scene, this practice tree race was full of some tough racing.
In addition to all of the practice tree racing going on, there was also dinner available which was catered by Bojangles and sponsored by Advanced Product Design Carburetors. Brian Whitworth also gave away two full entries to the TB Promotions Derby City $5K practice tree race which will be held at Bullitt Co. Fairgrounds on January 28, 2023. Brandon Bishop and James West used their .000 reaction times to get their hands on those free entries.

$4K Main Event
In the money rounds, it was Camrin Dyer, Jeremiah Orange, Randy Rice and past champion, Blake Webb each taking home $100 for their departure at 9 entries.
Now 5 racers are left and Tyler Jarrell and out of town racer, Stevie “Sidewinder” Dustin took home the quarter-finalist spots.
Down to 3, Rob Tiedt is on the bye to the finals with his .002 bulb, so Michael Harville and Braden Sloan have to run each other. Sloan comes out on top and continues on to meet Tiedt in the finals.
In the final, Rob and Braden decided to split the cash up a little with the winner taking home $3,000 and runner-up taking $2,000. Tiedt lays down donuts .000 on Sloan in the finals to take home the big check and the custom painted Yeti cup donated by Jeremy Harrison.
$5K 64 Racer Shootout #1
In the semi-finals, Clarksville stand-out racer, Brady Mase and Louisville based racer, Brian Whitworth bowed out and took home $300 each.
That put us into the final round with Chance Lykens from Byhalia, MS taking on none other than the main event winner, Rob Tiedt. Once again Rob would see the final win light come on in his lane taking home his second big check and Yeti cup of the night! Rob was .00x all night long. It was a stellar performance to say the least.
$5K 64 Racer Shootout #2
With 4 entries left, Illinois based racer, Corey Butler and Tennessee local, Morgan Nappier took home the semi-final spots.
That left us with Kanean Adams from Kentucky taking on Maryland racer, Stevie Dustin. The win light came on in Kanean’s lane which got him a big check, Yeti cup, and a sweet $5000.
FREE Entry Women’s Shootout
The last race of the night was the FREE entry Women’s Shootout where Big Block Blake put up $250 cash of his own. The ladies were on it with a lot of stellar reaction times. When the finals came around, it was Kaytee Lynch taking the win over Amanda Fuqua.
