Tim Molnar and Steve Furr Win at PDRA World Finals

Tim Molnar and Steve Furr both visited the winners circle at the PDRA World Finals at Virginia Motorsports Park.

NORTH DINWIDDIE, VA – Tim Molnar and Steve Furr conquered the PDRA World Finals at Virginia Motorsports Park to pick up the trophies in Elite Top Sportsman and Elite Top Dragster, respectively.

Joining them in the winners circle were Mark Payne (TS), Ken Batchelor (TD), Brooks McMath (PJD), and Carter Jackson (TJD).

PDRA World Finals

Elite Top Sportsman

Tim Molnar defeated Tim Paap in the final round to pick up the trophy. Molnar had the slight starting line advantage, .024 to .026, and ran a 3.777 on his 3.77 dial-in to go to the winner’s circle.

Chris Nyerges and Vonnie Mills were the semi-finalists.

Elite Top Dragster

Steve Furr defeated Michael Kalin in the final round to pick up the trophy. Furr had the starting line advantage, .011 to .033, and ran a 3.861 on his 3.78 dial-in to go to the winner’s circle.

Frank Falter IV and Michael White were the semi-finalists.

Top Sportsman

Mark Payne defeated Ron Biondo in the final round to pick up the trophy in Top Sportsman. Payne had the starting line advantage, .027 to .041, and turned it into a win-light running a 4.125 on his 4.11 dial-in.

Stacy Hall was the semi-finalist.

Top Dragster

Ken Batchelor defeated TJ Harper in the final round to take home the trophy. Batchelor had the starting line advantage, .003 to .040, and turned it into a win-light running a 4.297 on his 4.28 dial-in.

Tom Reese was the semi-finalist.

Pro Jr. Dragster

Brooks McMath picked up the trophy after defeating Brayden Davis in the final round.

Top Jr. Dragster

Carter Jackson defeated Gavin Wood in the final round to pick up the win.

Megan Bohannon is a 25 year old Super Comp racer from Louisville, Kentucky. She races a 2015 American Dragster with a 648 Oakley Motorsports Engine. Growing up at the racetrack, drag racing is all she has known and never plans to give up on it.
