Todd Clark Wins Derby City $5K

Todd Clark made his trip to Louisville well worth it, taking home the win in the $5,000 main event at the Derby City $5K.

LOUISVILLE, KY – The TB Promotions crew kicked off their 2023 season with the Derby City $5K Practice Tree Race over the weekend, where Todd Clark picked up the $5,000 main event check after defeating Taylor Bowling in the final round.

Aside from the $5,000 to win main event, there was also a 64-entry shootout for a 2022 Yamaha Zuma Scooter and a Team shootout. The main event was split into top bulb and bottom bulb, with 500+ entries in top bulb and 80 entries in bottom bulb.

Derby City $5K

$5,000 to win Main Event

Todd Clark defeated Taylor Bowling in the final round to take home the big check back to Indiana. Both drivers were .00x in the final, with Clark coming out on top.

Connor Glaser was the semi-finalist.

On the bottom bulb side, Josh Lynch was victorious over Jeremy Johnston in the final round.

Zuma Shootout

Kevin Adams got to take the 2022 Yamaha Zuma back home with him after defeating Josh Pickett in the final round.

Team Shootout

Team Drew Smith (Drew Smith, Carson Brown, Josh Owens) picked up the $3,000 check in a no split final round over Team Labbous (John Labbous, Shawn Langdon, Tyler Jarrell)!

Megan Bohannon is a 25 year old Super Comp racer from Louisville, Kentucky. She races a 2015 American Dragster with a 648 Oakley Motorsports Engine. Growing up at the racetrack, drag racing is all she has known and never plans to give up on it.
