Winners Emerge from CCMP Hangover Nationals

Crawford, Berry, Russell, Todd, Staples, Goddard, Sileo, and Youngblood claimed wins at the Capital City Motorsports Park Hangover Nationals.

MONTGOMERY, AL- Capital City Motorsports Park opened its gates January 7-8, 2023 for the Hangover Nationals. The event featured a Friday night Gamblers Race and multiple classes including: Super Pro, Footbrake, 6.0 Index, 7.0 Index, and Junior Dragsters. Unfortunately, Sunday’s on-track events were cancelled due to unfavorable racing weather.

Friday Gamblers Race

Harrison Crawford claimed the Friday night Gamblers Race win over Carlee Tapley.

Saturday Results

Footbrake

Todd Berry was the Footbrake winner on Saturday.

Super Pro

In Super Pro, Paul Russell picked up the final round win.

Junior Dragsters

The Junior Dragster classes were run separate until one was standing in each age group. Each age group winner received a Wally.

Age Group Winners:

6-9: Rayleigh Staples

10-12: Kirsten Goddard

13-17: Brayden Todd

Once combined, Brayden Todd defeated Rayleigh Staples to claim the Hangover Nationals overall Junior Dragster win.

6.0 Index

Nick Sileo defeated Rick Justice in the 6.0 Index final round.

7.0 Index

Gary Youngblood picked up the 7.0 Index win over Cole Watkins.
