Lamb, Nero Conquer NHRA Northwest Nationals in Seattle

Justin Lamb and Paul Nero led the leaderboard at the Flav-R-Pac NHRA Northwest Nationals at Pacific Raceways.

KENT, WA  – Justin Lamb and Paul Nero visited the winners circle at the Flav-R-Pac NHRA Northwest Nationals at Pacific Raceways. Both drivers have visited the winners circle a many of times, but each win is still special to them.

Joining them in the winner’s circle was Joseph Arrowsmith (Comp), Don Thomas (SS), Garrett Sides (SC), Brian McGinnis (SST), Mike Ferderer (TS), and Thomas Bayer (TD).

2023 Flav-R-Pac NHRA Northwest Nationals

Competition Eliminator

Joseph Arrowsmith won his second NHRA National event Wally after defeating Cody Lane in the final round. Lane turned it -.006 up front to hand the automatic win over to Arrowsmith who was -.004 right behind him. He coasted to the stripe to pick up the trophy.

Andrew Moeck was the semi-finalist.

Super Stock

Rick McKinney took home his first NHRA National event Wally after defeating Don Thomas in the final round. McKinney had the starting line advantage, .061 to .077, and turned it into a win-light running a 10.582 at 122 mph on his 10.48 dial-in.

Rod Stults was the semi-finalist.

Stock Eliminator

Justin Lamb defeated Greg Kielman in the final round to pick up his 30th NHRA National event win. Kielman had the starting line advantage, .005 to .022, but gave the stripe back by .005 to hand the win over to Lamb. He ran a 9.814 at 127 mph on his 9.80 dial-in.

Brian Seaburg was the semi-finalist.

Super Comp

Garrett Sides took home his first NHRA National event Wally after defeating Dylan Hough in the final round. Sides had the starting line advantage, .011 to .019, and turned it into a win light running an 8.912 at 181 mph on the 8.90-index.

Cooper Chun was the semi-finalist.

Super Gas

Paul Nero defeated Lindsey Larson in the final round to take home his seventh NHRA National event Wally. Nero had the starting line advantage, .027 to .044, and turned it into a win light running a 9.932 at 162 mph on the 9.90-index.

Nicholas Shepherd and Chris Cannon were the semi-finalists.

Super Street

Brian McGinnis picked up his first NHRA National event Wally after defeating Dustin Ward in the final round. Ward had the starting line advantage, .036 to .056, but gave the stripe back by .0002 to hand the win over to McGinnis. He ran a 10.951 at 126 mph on the 10.90-index.

Jeff Jackson and Gary Ermish were the semi-finalists.

Top Sportsman

Mike Ferderer defeated Byran Warr to take home the NHRA Wally in Top Sportsman. Ferderer had the starting line advantage, .029 to .049, and turned it into a win light running a 7.119 at 193 mph on his 7.07 dial-in.

Don Meziere was the semi-finalist.

Top Dragster

Thomas Bayer picked up his 11th NHRA National event Wally after defeating Dylan Hough in the final round. Bayer was .031 up front and ran a 6.148 at 231 mph on his 6.14 dial-in to turn on a win-light.

Andrew Morris and Clinton Geise were the semi-finalists.

Megan Bohannon is a 25 year old Super Comp racer from Louisville, Kentucky. She races a 2015 American Dragster with a 648 Oakley Motorsports Engine. Growing up at the racetrack, drag racing is all she has known and never plans to give up on it.
