Luke Tabor extends his winning streak with a $5K victory to lead the DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance.

11/01/23 – Welcome to the DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance. Each week we rank the best Jr. racers across the country based on their weekly performances. Nominations are accepted every Monday evening on our Facebook page.

DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List

1 – Luke Tabor

Luke Tabor has been on an amazing run lately. In the last six weeks, Luke has been in eight finals with four wins and several other late round finishes. This includes winning three times in four finals in the last two weeks! A week ago Luke doubled up at the Fire in the Gump race. He followed that with a runner-up this past Friday and a $5,000 victory on Saturday at the Halloween Triple Pumpkins race.

2 – Mason Crews

Mason Crews jumps into the #2 spot this week after winning $5,000 at Darlington. The win marked his third final in the last four races.

3 – Will Willard

Will Willard has been on an impressive run which saw him win the IHRA D1 championship, the Race of Champions race at the IHRA World Finals, and the Race against Cancer event at Wilkesboro. Will has also been on a tear racing big cars in the Sportsman and No-Box classes.

4 – Dexter Gomez

DragChamp Pro member Dexter Gomez sits in the #4 spot this week after earning his third straight victory. Gomez won on back-to-back weekends at Kentucky which followed a $2,000 victory at the Boo Banger race.

5 – Regan Picha

DragChamp Pro member Regan Picha sits in the five spot after doubling up at the SouthWest Jr Dragster Series race a Evadale. Regan was the 8.90 Index winner and the 10-12 Age Group winner.

6 – Grayson Herbert

Grayson Herbert enjoyed a busy weekend at the SouthWest Jr Dragster Series race in southeast Texas. Herbert made three final round appearances on the weekend earning a win in the 7-9 class on Sunday while adding two runner-ups and a semifinal finish to close out the weekend.

7 – Mattie Grayson

Mattie Grayson sits in the lucky #7 spot after making three final round appearances in two weeks. This past weekend Mattie earned a win and a runner-up at Ethridge to secure her Top 10 spot.

8 – Aus Danner Jr.

Aus Danner Jr. has been made the finals in his last four starts. This includes a runner-up at the IHRA Bracket Finals, back-to-back wins at Shadyside, and a runner-up this past weekend at Darlington.

9 – Brian Adkins II

DragChamp Pro member Brian Adkins II posted back-to-back victories to earn a Top 10 showing. Adkins won a Wally at Mooresville a week ago and followed with a victory at Darlington this past weekend.

10 – Colt Saum

DragChamp Pro sponsor and member Colt Saum put his S&S Motorsports entry in two final rounds at the SWJDS race at Evadale on Saturday. Colt won Bracket 330 and was runner-up in the 7.90 Index class.

10 – Clay Delp

Clay Delp closes out the Top 10 List this week after making two final round appearances. Delp picked up a win and a runner-up at Knoxville.

Jake Leigh wins at Kil-Kare’s Freak Fest to close out his Jr. career with a W!

Peyton Bunch won Sunday at Maryland International Raceway to earn his second track championship of the year and 5th overall.

Katie Hall closed out her Jr. career with a win at MIR!
