1 – Chris Bear

chris bear

Chris Bear ran over the field at the ACE Summer Slam to grab the #1 spot this week. Bear kicked off the weekend with a runner-up in Thursday’s $5K. He followed with a $20K victory on Friday and a second $20K victory on Sunday! To drive a door truck through a 400 car field to make three finals is one thing but it’s even more insane that it was only his second outing of the season! Congrats on an amazing weekend bud.

2 – Wade Archer

Wade Archer grabs the #2 spot this week after winning three times in Boise last weekend. Archer won the Friday night $5K bracket race, the Super Gas Shootout, and then captured the Super Comp Wally on Sunday!

3 – Tommy Jackson II

Tommy Jackson has enjoyed a wildly successful 2023 thus far. After winning three straight races at Holly Springs, including $20K at the Dream Team race, he parked his ’69 Camaro and proceeded to make 5 finals in 8 days in his Trans Am. A change of cars and venues didn’t matter as his win streak remains intact.

4 – Big Money Winners

There were several big money bracket races this past weekend including the No Limit Promotions Spring King of the Creek, the ACE Summer Slam, and the BOGO Bracket Bash. Chris Gulitti and Andy Lloyd cracked’em for $25K at the King of the Creek in Maryland while Randy Sheuer grabbed a $20K payday at the ACE race. Todd Piper won the $20K main event at the BOGO Bash at Cedar Falls.

Christopher Takacs doubled up a week ago in No-Box at Grove Creek Raceway and followed with a victory in Top at Brainerd International Raceway this past weekend to grab the #9 spot.

10 – Rob Reynolds

10 – Gerald Ingle

Gerald Ingle closes out the Top 10 List this week after winning twice on Saturday. Ingle won the Super class and then captured the 16-car Shootout title to go along with a deep run in the No-Box class.

Shout Outs

Bubba and Michael Paschal

The Paschal family have been a handful to deal with lately which earned them a shout out this week. Bubba drove his S-10 to a win and a runner-up at Piedmont while Michael posted a couple of semifinal finishes, one at the King of the Creek $25K, which comes on the heels of his $100K SFG runner-up a couple of weeks ago.

Ernie Humes followed up his $50K runner-up a week ago with a win at Piedmont this past weekend.

Mitchell Seymore goes back-to-back at Baileyton the Goodtime to earn a shout out.

Kevin Boring most likely had the second best weekend of any racer at the ACE Summer Slam. Although Chris Bear dominated the event, Kevin was a close second with a $20K runner-up on Friday (to Bear), a deep run Saturday, and a semifinal finish on Sunday (once again to Bear).
