2nd Annual Great American USA 500K Coming in October

Mark your calendars for the highly anticipated 2nd Annual SDPC Raceshop Great American USA 500K presented by Moser Engineering on October 15-19, 2024 at Montgomery International Dragway.

MONTGOMERY, AL- Montgomery International Raceway will be the place to be on October 15-19, 2024 for the Great American Bracket Races 2nd Annual SDPC Raceshop Great American USA 500K presented by Moser Engineering! This event will feature the $500,000-to-win main event on Friday and Triple Moser Engineering $40,000-to-win races on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. In addition, there will also be a Folk Race Cars/ SDPC Raceshop Dragster Shootout on Tuesday.

For those who will not be able to attend this event in person, Motormania TV powered by Weldon Performance will be on-site and live-streaming the event.

Folk Race Cars & SDPC Raceshop Dragster Shootout

The event will kick-off on Tuesday, October 15th with the Folk Race Cars and SDPC Raceshop Dragster Shootout! The winner of the 128-car shootout will receive their choice of a Folk Race Cars Stage 1 Dragster or a SDPC Raceshop 582 CI Head Hunter BBC crate motor. The runner-up will receive the one not selected by the winner. Semi-finalists will earn $1,000 and the round 8 losers will take home $400. The entry fee is $400 and there will be no buybacks.

Registration for the Tuesday Folk Race Cars and SDPC Race Shop Dragster Shootout will begin September 24th at 6pm Central. Check their Facebook page on 9/24 for the registration link.

Last year, Kyle Cultrera was victorious in the dragster shootout, defeating Dylan Coggins in the final round.

Moser Engineering Triple $40Ks

On Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, racers can compete each day to win $40,000. The runner-up will earn $5,000 and the semi-finalists will cash in for $2,000. Round money begins with round 3 winners. For the three Moser Triple 40Ks, racers can purchase one 3-race entry for $900. Registration for just the Triple 40Ks will open online on September 10th at 6pm CT. See below for more information.

$500K Friday

Friday will feature the $500K main event! This race will pay $500,000 with 385 entries and the runner-up will earn $40,000 with the semi-finalists collecting $10,000. Round money begins with round 3 winners. The entry fee will be $2,000 and there will be a re-entry round (1st round only) available for $500.

Last year, Stephen McCrory defeated Will Holloman in the final round in the SDPC Raceshop 500K.

Event Registration

Registration is now open for the SDPC Raceshop Great American 500K presented by Moser Engineering! The event will be capped at 385 entries and the 40Ks or 500K races can be oversold by a max of 10%. 100% of the oversold entries will be added to the winner purse if over 385 entries run 1st round. When a racer registers for the weekend, they are entered into the Triple 40K’s and the 500K. They can purchase 2nd entries in one or more 40K if they wish ($325 on single 40K entry).

$200 is due at registration and remaining $1,800 due at the gate! The refund cutoff is October 1, 2024.

Moser Triple 40Ks Registration– NEW INFO for 2024!

If you only want to run the Moser Engineering Triple 40K’s (NO 500K), your registration will open online on September 10th at 6pm CT at www.greatamericanbracketraces.com.

NEW FOR 2024: If not entered in the 500K, they will be allowing an additional 100 entries in the Moser Engineering Triple 40Ks. The Moser Triple 40Ks can be oversold by max of 10%. 100% of oversold entries will be added to the purse if over 485 entries run round 1.

When registration opens up for the Moser Triple 40Ks, it will be $200 to register with the remaining due at the gate. No single day entries will be sold! Racers who have already registered for the 500K are NOT REQUIRED to register for the Moser 40Ks. Refund cutoff is also October 1, 2024.
