FRBR Promotions Door Wars Returns to Maple Grove

The FRBR Promotions 8th Annual Blittersdorf’s Automotive Door Wars: Battle off the Bottom! heads to Maple Grove Raceway October 4-6, 2024.

MOHNTON, PA- FRBR Promotions returns to Maple Grove Raceway from October 4-6, 2024, for the highly anticipated 8th Annual Blittersdorf’s Automotive Door Wars: Battle off the Bottom. This action-packed No-Box and Footbrake event will showcase three $10,000-to-win main event races on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Friday night heats up with a $1,644-to-win Dave Anderson Memorial Shootout, followed by Saturday’s exciting Dash for Cash, Reaction Time Challenge, and $2,000-to-win Gamblers Race. On Sunday, racers have one last shot at glory with the $1,000-to-win Change Your Luck race.

Triple $10K’s

Footbrake racers will battle it out for $10,000 on each day of the event. Runner-up will earn $2,000 and semi-finalist can win $1,000. The single day entry is $170 and a 1st round re-entry will be available for $100. C2 Competition, Roadrunner Race Fuels, and BNM Performance are the respective day sponsors. The weekend entry which includes all three days ($10K/$10K/$10K) will be available for $450.

No-Box and Footbrake racers will be split for the first three rounds of competition. There will be a $500 bonus paid out if a footbrake racer wins the main event!

Last year’s Main Event winners were, Paul Thimm Jr, Dave Harvey Jr, and Marty Flegal.

Dave Anderson Memorial Shootout

On Saturday night, there will be a $1,644-to-win Dave Anderson Memorial Shootout. The entry fee is $80 and there will be no buybacks or doubles. The runner-up will take home $800 and semi-finalists will $100 round money starts with 4th round losers!

Saturday Night Gamblers Race

On Saturday night, there will be a $2,000-to-win Gamblers Race. The runner-up will earn $800 and $80 round money will start with 4th round losers. There will be no buybacks and double entries are allowed. The entry fee will be $80.

Last year’s Gamblers Race winners was Austin Youndt.

Sunday Change Your Luck Race!

The Morris Trans & Auto Change Your Luck Race will take place on Sunday for any racers who didn’t visit the pay window all weekend. To be eligible, you must have run at least two days of the event. It comes with a FREE entry and will be $1,000-to-win!

Extras

Thursday Pizza Pit Party

In addition to parking, Thursday will feature the ISC Salesmaster Corp. Pizza Pit Party at 7PM to help kick off this year’s Door Wars!

Coffee & Donuts + Off the Trailer $500 Bonus!

On Friday morning, there will be free coffee and donuts available to racers in addition to the $500 Off the Trailer Best Package bonus!

Saturday Dash for Cash

During time runs on Saturday, there will also be an opportunity for Dash for Cash for drivers with the best total package. The top three places will get paid and if a tiebreaker is needed, it will be based on reaction time. Entry fee is $10.

Saturday Night Reaction Time Challenge

Saturday night will feature the Mid-Town Tire & Automotive Reaction Time Challenge which will be made up of 20 randomly selected racers. Any driver to hit a .00X reaction time receives $100 cash. The first driver to hit a .000 Reaction Time will win $1,000 cash. It will take place after Saturday’s main event.

Saturday Racer Appreciation Meal

Safeco Insurance will be sponsoring the Saturday (12pm- 8pm) racer appreciation meal.

Weekend Schedule

On Thursday, parking will be open from 4pm-10pm and the pizza party will begin at 7pm.

Gates will open at 8am on Friday morning with time trials starting at 9am. Eliminations will follow the time trial and the Dave Anderson Memorial Shootout will take place that evening, time TBA. 

On Saturday, gates also open at 8am with time trials at 9am and eliminations to follow. The Mid-Town Tire & Automotive Reaction Time Challenge will start after eliminations and the Saturday night Gambler’s Race will take place.

Gates open at 8am on Sunday with new combination only time trials at 9am and eliminations to begin at 9:30am.

Crew

Crew will be $15/day or $40/weekend and kids 12 & Under are FREE!
