Hagberg, Lawler, Ostrowski Shine at Sean Serra Memorial Drag Race

Frank Hagberg, Jayden Lawler, and Jack Ostrowski visited the winners circle at the 2nd Annual Sean Serra Memorial Drag Race at Darlington Dragway.

HARTSVILLE, SC – Hundreds of racers traveled to Darlington Dragway to honor the life of Sean Serra, an incredible friend, brother, and drag racer. Big Block Promotions kicked off the weekend with a golf cart race on Thursday, and paid out big money on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Over $139,000 was paid in payouts over the weekend along with a racer party, jet cars, and much more.

Box raced for $21,390 each day. Heavy (no-box) ran separate for a $1,000 bonus until one remained, then they were moved into the main event.

Over Kill Motorsports Golf Cart Showdown

Connor Caudler was victorious over Johnny Labbous Jr. on Thursday evening in the OverKill Motorsports Golf Cart Showdown.

Paul Campanella’s Auto & Tire Center Fast 48 1000′ Shootout

48 cars took it to the 1000′ cone and Kyle Hustawayte found his way into the winner’s circle after defeating Darren Lotts in the final round.

Big Block Promotions Friday

Frank Hagberg parked his dragster in the winner’s circle after defeating Holden Dial in the final round.

Ross Freeman was the Heavy bonus winner and the lone semi-finalist.

FuelTech Saturday

Jayden Lawler found himself in the winner’s circle on Saturday evening after defeating Shannon Justice in the final round to pick up the $21,390 check.

Friday’s winner Frank Hagberg was the semi-finalist.

Rickie Dunn was the Heavy bonus winner.

TRC Custom Carbs & Performance Parts Sunday

Jack Ostrowski parked it in the winner’s circle on Sunday evening after defeating Gage Burch in the final round to pick up the last remaining check and trophy of the weekend.

Chris Crawford was the semi-finalist.

Bug McCarty was the Heavy bonus winner.
