Parrish, Lloyd, Denton pick up win at Triple Threat at VMP

The 2024 Triple Threat Series kicked off over the weekend at Virginia Motorsports Park, where Brandon Lloyd and Blane Parrish visited the winners circle.

NORTH DINWIDDIE, VA – The first Triple Threat Series race of the season kicked off at Virginia Motorsports Park where a couple winners visited the winners circle. The weather forecast was not in favor for the weekend, but the VMP team was able to complete a few races for the racers who traveled for the event.

Sunday’s purse was moved over to Friday to make it twin 20’s to win on Friday and Saturday.

The plug was eventually pulled on Saturday due to rain.

Brandon Lloyd took home the Super64 win over Steve Witherow.


Blane Parrish was victorious over Jayden Lawler in the final round to pick up the trophy.

In the gamblers race, Blake Denton laid claim to the big check over Dink Holmes in the final round.
