Pennington Bros. Inaugural Finish Line Customs Superbucks Showdown comes to Xtreme Raceway Park, November 21-23, 2024

FERRIS, TX – Get ready for one of the most anticipated bracket racing events of the year as the Pennington Bros. present the Inaugural Finish Line Customs Superbucks Showdown at Xtreme Raceway Park, November 21-23, 2024. This three-day event promises high-stakes bracket racing with guaranteed purses, tough competition, and no minimum car count.

Thursday Warm-Up & Test-n-Tune

Kicking off the weekend is Thursday’s All Run $5K Warm-Up race, perfect for racers looking to dial in before the main events. For just $100, competitors can enter the Warm-Up, which includes test-n-tune access, while non-competitors can participate in a separate test-n-tune session for $40. With $5,000 on the line for the winner and $750 for the runner-up, the Warm-Up race is sure to set the tone for the rest of the weekend. No-Box racers will run separately until only one remains with the winner joining the Super Pro class. Buybacks are available for $50.

Friday and Saturday Main Events

Friday and Saturday bring the main events for Super Pro and No-Box racers. With $15,000 to win and $2,500 for the runner-up, Super Pro competitors will compete for big money and custom belt buckles. Entry for both $15K races is $430 for the weekend, or racers can opt for a single-day entry at $250. Buybacks, available for $125, will be run in a separate re-entry round.

No-Box racers have their own battles, competing for $2,000 to win and $750 for the runner-up each day. Weekend entry for No-Box racers is $150, or $100 for a single day. For those daring enough, the No-Box Risky Business option lets racers pay the Super Pro entry fee and race for both the Super Pro and No-Box purses. Winning No-Box means continuing into Super Pro, where racers can compete for the $15,000 prize.

Duck Race & Special Events

For competitors whose day ends early, the Duck Race offers redemption. Starting after round 4 of the main events on Friday and Saturday, the Duck Race gives drivers who lose in the 3rd round or earlier a second chance at victory. With $3,000 to win and $500 to the runner-up, the Duck Race, which has no buybacks or time trials, gives races a second chance at victory each day.

Saturday morning also features the Run for the $5K time trial, where all racers have a shot at perfection. A perfect package on this run wins $5,000, making it a high-stakes trial worth watching.

Jr. Dragsters

Jr. Dragster racers will not be left out, with exciting events scheduled throughout the weekend. Friday night kicks off with the Jr. Dragster Gamblers race, where a $500 winner’s prize and $100 for the runner-up await. The action doesn’t stop there, as Jr. racers will compete in $1,000-to-win main events in two classes — Jr. Sportsman (ages 6-12) and Jr. Advanced (ages 13-17) — on both Friday and Saturday. The main events include $65 entry fees and $30 buybacks. In both Jr. events, racers aged 6-9 will compete separately until only one remains, with a $100 bonus for the 6-9 class winner.
