Sholar & Henry Leads Winners at KOC Event #5
Fourteen racers earned wins at Event #5 of the 20th Annual BTE King of the Coast Bracket Racing Series at Gulfport Dragway.
GULFPORT, MS- Event #5 of the 20th Annual BTE King of the Coast Bracket Racing Series presented by David McMurtry Engines series took place on September 20-22, 2024, at Gulfport Dragway. Gaylon Rolison Jr. and his team continue the tradition of wealthy paydays, unforgettable competition, and plenty of fun throughout their events. This event featured an array of classes including $5,000-to-win Electronics, $3,000-to-win Footbrake, Sportsman, and several Junior Dragster categories. Additionally, the BTE King of the Coast Tournament of Champions for Electronics and Footbrake also took place over the weekend.
Mark your calendars for Event #6, scheduled to take place from November 1-3, 2024, once again at Gulfport Dragway.

Saturday Results
Rick’s Powdercoating & Customs Electronics $5K
Tristian Sholar captured the Saturday $5,000 Electronics win over Amanda Albritton.
Roy Stewart was the lone semi-finalist.
Alliance Race Wear Footbrake $3K
Jock Greene picked up the Saturday $3K Footbrake final round win over Thomas Holley.
Blaine Stewart was the semi-finalist.
Velocity Racing Carbs Sportsman
In Saturday’s Sportsman class, Layne Lewis earned himself the final round win by defeating Robby Watson.
Jerry Rogers and Jonathan Hardy were the semi-finalists.
Junior Specialties/ S&W Powersports Junior Dragsters presented by Bone Shaker Motorsports
Berry Performance Ages 7-9
Kegan Ortego picked up the Saturday Berry Performance 7-9 Age Group Junior Dragster win over Addi Paul.
Bone Shaker Motorsports Ages 10-12
In Saturday’s Bone Shaker Motorsports 10-12 Age Group Junior Dragster class, Elleigh Sykes earned the final round win over Grayson Herbert.
Bentley Wright was the semi-finalist.
Pearce Automotive Ages 13-17
Linly Hatcher claimed the Pearce Automotive 13-17 Age Group Junior Dragster win over Reagan Wells on Saturday.
The lone semi-finalist was Layne Lewis.
Sunday Results

Sunday’s Electronics $5K featured Wayne Henry and Freddie Fails in the final round with Henry taking home the win.
Roy Stewart was the lone semi-finalist.

In Sunday’s Footbrake $3K, Timmy Fieramusca captured the final round win over Roger Marcomb.
Aaron Hill was the semi-finalist.
Velocity Racing Carbs Sportsman
Sunday’s Sportsman final round once again featured Layne Lewis and Robby Watson squaring off to see who would take home the win. In the final, Lewis claimed the win over Watson.

Kendall Stephenson captured the Bone Shaker Motorsports 10-12 Age Group Junior Dragster win over Bentley Wright.
Kylie Ortego was the lone semi-finalist.
Pearce Automotive Ages 13-17
In Sunday’s Pearce Automotive 13-17 Age Group Junior Dragster final, Ryan Alexander defeated Tristian Ryan.
Zack Pearce and Troy Henderson were the semi-finalists.
Tournament of Champions
Electronics
Billy Fuller Sr. defeated Johnny Holley in the Electronics Tournament of Champions.
Wayne Henry was the semi-finalist.
Footbrake
In the Footbrake Tournament of Champions, Tim Clinton clinched the final round win over Thomas Holley.
The lone semi-finalist was Larry Seguin.
