Stewart Cashes In for $5K at KOC Event #2
Nine racers captured wins at Event #2 of the 20th Annual BTE King of the Coast Bracket Racing Series at Gulfport Dragway.
GULFPORT, MS- Event #2 of the 20th Annual BTE King of the Coast Bracket Racing Series presented by David McMurtry Engines series took place on April 26-28, 2024, at Gulfport Dragway. Gaylon Rolison Jr. and his team continue the tradition of wealthy paydays, unforgettable competition, and plenty of fun throughout their events. This event featured an array of classes including $5,000-to-win Electronics, $3,000-to-win Footbrake, Sportsman, and several Junior Dragster categories.
Mark your calendars for Event #3, scheduled to take place from May 31- June 1, 2024, once again at Gulfport Dragway.

Saturday Results
Rick’s Powdercoating & Customs Electronics $5K
Trampus Stewart captured the Saturday $5,000 Electronics win over Jeff Gaddis.
Freddy Fails was the lone semi-finalist.
Alliance Race Wear Footbrake $3K
Tim Pace picked up the Saturday $3K Footbrake final round win over Jock Greene.
Tim Pace was also the semi-finalist.
Velocity Racing Carbs Sportsman
In Saturday’s Sportsman class, Jonathan Hardy earned himself the final round win by defeating Robby Watson.
The lone semi-finalist was Layne Lewis.
Junior Specialties/ S&W Powersports Junior Dragsters presented by Bone Shaker Motorsports
Berry Performance Ages 7-9
Bo Smith picked up the Saturday Berry Performance 7-9 Age Group Junior Dragster win over Hutch Harger.
Bone Shaker Motorsports Ages 10-12
In Saturday’s Bone Shaker Motorsports 10-12 Age Group Junior Dragster class, Dawson Rogers earned the final round win over Bentley Wright.
Jesse Varner was the semi-finalist.
Pearce Automotive Ages 13-17
Zack Pearce claimed the Pearce Automotive 13-17 Age Group Junior Dragster win over Josiah Varner on Saturday.
The lone semi-finalist was Alissa Ortego.

Dawson Rogers captured the Bone Shaker Motorsports 10-12 Age Group Junior Dragster win over Jesse Varner.
Bentley Wright was the lone semi-finalist.
Pearce Automotive Ages 13-17
In Sunday’s Pearce Automotive 13-17 Age Group Junior Dragster final, Luke Tabor defeated John Varner.
Alissa Ortego was the semi-finalist.
