Tracy Sons cashes in for $100,000 at TB $100K

Tracy Sons cashed in for $100,000 last weekend at the TB $100K event at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, KY.

BOWLING GREEN, KY – Tracy Sons swept through the field at the TB $100K race at Beech Bend Raceway Park, a track he is quite familiar with. Sons defeated Doug Burks in the final round of the $100,000 race to take home the big check!

The TB Promotions visited Beech Bend Raceway Park for the second year in a row for the TB $100K. Racers traveled from all different directions & braved the weather forecast in hopes of visiting the winners circle for a big payday.

Moser Engineering Thursday and Fuel Factory Friday were combined for $75,000 to win on Thursday due to Friday’s weather forecast.

Mullis Race Cars Wednesday

Josh Luedke visited the winner circle on Mullis Race Cars Wednesday after defeating Mikey Bloomfield in the final round. Luedke took home the 2024 painted and wired Mullis Race Cars chassis for his efforts.

Shane Carr was the semi-finalist.

Moser Engineering Thursday / Fuel Factory Friday

Marco Abruzzi drove his American Race Cars dragster to the winner’s circle for $75,000 after defeating Jeremy McKague in the final round. Abruzzi has been in a. winner’s circle or two in his career, so this win was very memorable to him.

Colby Walker picked up the bottom bulb bonus.

Shanna Stone was the semi-finalist.

Connor Bledsoe picked up the junior dragster win over Gage Blevens.

LB Trailers $100K

Tracy Sons fought his way through 128 of the baddest drivers in the country and found his way to the winners circle on Saturday evening after defeating Doug Burks in the final round of the $100K shootout. Both drivers were no stranger to each other or Beech Bend, making for an exciting evening.

Braden Bowden and Larry Mayes were the semi-finalists.

Vintage Trailers Saturday / Sunday

Zac Fulcher drove his brand new M&M dragster to the winner’s circle on its first race out in the Vintage Trailers $50,000 race after defeating Logan Back in the final round. Fulcher put the new car together in a matter of days before rolling through the gates at Bowling Green, and ending the weekend in the winner’s circle.

Taylor Pofahl picked up the bottom bulb bonus.

Ed Niemic was the semi-finalist.

Andrew Dicken picked up the junior dragster win over Connor Bledsoe.

Megan Strassweg

Megan Bohannon is a 26 year old Super Comp racer from Louisville, Kentucky. She races a 2015 American Dragster with a 648 Oakley Motorsports Engine. Growing up at the racetrack, drag racing is all she has known and never plans to give up on it.
