WyoTech and SDPC Raceshop Partnership Highlights Automotive Excellence and Education

Laramie, WYWyoTech, the premier destination for automotive, diesel, collision, and refinishing training, is thrilled to announce its partnership with SDPC Raceshop for the 2024 racing season. This collaboration is highlighted by the involvement of WyoTech alum and recent Hall of Fame inductee, John J. Alonzo III, now the Racing Operations Marketing Director at SDPC Raceshop.

Ashley Chitwood, VP of Marketing at WyoTech, expressed her excitement about the partnership, saying, “We are proud to align with the SDPC Raceshop team and our distinguished alum, John J. Alonzo III, for the 2024 season. John’s remarkable journey from WyoTech student to a respected figure in the automotive and performance industry exemplifies the limitless possibilities that await our graduates. This partnership not only celebrates John’s achievements but also aims to inspire future technicians to pursue their passions in the dynamic world of performance and racing.”

The collaboration will see the SDPC Raceshop team participating in a series of prestigious events throughout the 2024 season, including 5 Lucas Oil Divisional events, 2 NHRA Mission Foods National Events, and more. Additionally, a special “Pit Party” event hosted by local representative Domingo Alvarado is planned for local students enrolling at WyoTech in fall 2024, offering an exclusive glimpse into the world of professional racing and automotive excellence.
