Decker, Butner grab prestigious U.S. Nationals wins at the 70th running
Josh Decker and Bo Butner clinched wins in Stock Eliminator and Super Gas at the Toyota NHRA U.S. Nationals at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.
BROWNSBURG, IN – The 70th running of the U.S. Nationals came to a close and crowned winners on Labor Day afternoon, a day most racers only dream of taking part in. Josh Decker and Bo Butner both picked up trophies at the legendary event. Decker was able to clinch a lifelong dream of his and held his first NHRA National event Wally at the end of the day, making it even sweeter being at Indy.
Butner added another historical pinpoint to his accomplishments during his racing career – winning not once, not twice, but THREE years in a row in Super Gas. He became the first sportsman racer to ever win three events in a row, in the same class, let alone at the most historic event of the year.

Joining them in the winner’s circle was Kayla Mozeris (Comp), Larry Hodge (SS), Trene Cressonie (SC), Zach Sackman (TD), and Bill Yates (TS).
