Landon Emmons won three classes in one weekend to lead the DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance.

03/06/24 – Welcome to the DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance. Each week we rank the best Jr. racers across the country based on their weekly performances. Nominations are accepted every Monday evening on our Facebook page.

DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List

1 – Landon Emmons

Landon Emmons

Landon Emmons claims the #1 spot on this week’s Top 10 List after capturing three class wins at the Southwest Junior Dragster Series Southwest Showdown. He won Quick 16, 12-17 Age Group, and the $1,500-to-win All Run Big Money. Landon was also a quarter-finalist in the Bracket 330 class and made it down to three cars in the Friday night Gamblers race before it was called due to curfew. So far in 2024, he has won 23/26 elimination rounds.

2 – Hutch Harger

Hutch Harger earns the #2 spot on this week’s top 10 list after picking up four wins in the first few months of the 2024 racing season. He was the Southern Big Bucks National Last Standing 6-9 Year Old Bonus winner, Southern Big Bucks Nationals Jr. Shootout winner, SWJDS Evadale 11.90 Index winner, and the SWJDS Evadale 6-9 Year Old winner.

3 – Kayslee Price

Kayslee Price captured three wins at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Firebird Raceway in the 15-17 Age Group class and also reached the semi-finals three times. Additionally, she got her license in her full-size dragster and advanced to the Super Pro finals, where she finished as the runner-up.

4 – Logan Grayson

Logan Grayson earns the #4 spot this week after winning the $25,000 Main Event at the Right Trailers World Series of Juniors at South Georgia Motorsports Park.

5 – Caden Starr

Caden Starr secures a spot on the list after an impressive performance, having won two races and reaching the final seven cars in a big money Junior Dragster event. He claimed his 11.90 wins at Gainesville Dragway and Orlando Speed World. Additionally, he was the last remaining 11.90 car at the World Series of Juniors, earning him a cash prize of $1,000.

6 – Lily Kersnason

Lily Kersnason kicked off her season with a 8.90 runner-up finish at Gainesville but followed it up with a $5K 8.90 win at the Right Trailers World Series of Juniors. The following weekend after that, she also earned the race #1 win at Immokalee Regional Raceway.

7 – Mason Phlegar

So far this year, Mason Phlegar has captured one win and four runner-up finishes in the 15-17 Year Old Age Group at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. In addition, he also claimed a win in Jr. Street and a Jr. Dragster runner-up at the Hangover Nationals in Tucson.

8 – Chase Sullivan

Chase Sullivan’s streak has earned him onto this week’s top 10 list, as he clinched three consecutive wins at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He secured two of these victories in one single weekend.

9 – Dawson “D-Pain” Rogers

Dawson “D-Pain” Rogers had an outstanding start to the racing season, securing two wins, one runner-up, and one semi-final finish. He claimed the Southwest Junior Dragster Series 10-12 Age Group win, Texas Bracket Series Sportsman win, Texas Bracket Series Gamblers runner-up, and a semi-final finish at the Texas Bracket Series.

10 – Camron Nelson

In just three weekends, Camron Nelson earned two wins and a runner-up his Junior Dragster. His victories came at the Evadale No Prep Big Money race and the Texas Motorplex NHRA points race. He also achieved a runner-up finish at the Edinburg IHRA Iron Man race. Camron also got his feet wet with a bit of No Box racing and made it down to seven cars at Ennis.

10 – Addysan Rogers

Addysan Rogers rounds out this week’s top 10 list after winning both days at the Texas Bracket Series in the Advanced Junior Dragster class.
