06/19/24 – Welcome to the DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance. Each week we rank the best Jr. racers across the country based on their weekly performances. Nominations are accepted every Monday evening on our Facebook page.

DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List

1 – Camron Nelson

DragChamp Pro Member Camron Nelson takes the #1 spot on this week’s Top 10 list after a successful two-week run. He won an IHRA Edinburg points race, made the semi-finals of an NHRA points race, won the NHRA Western Conference Finals Fun Race, and won the WCF 64-Car Shootout.

2 – Ryan Roberts

Ryan Roberts has enjoyed a great run over the last few weeks. This past weekend, he doubled up at Dragway 42, making it five wins and one runner-up finish in his last three outings.

3 – Western Conference Finals Winners

Clay Burrell (6-9), Dawson Rogers (10), Mason Tuck (11), Parker Freeman (12), Kenzie Wells (13), Landon Grayson (14), Caleb McDonald (15), and Gage Wilson (16-17).

4 – Lucas Sowers

Lucas Sowers picked up three wins in one weekend at Summit Motorsports Park to claim the #4 spot on this week’s Top 10 list. He won Jr. Street on both Saturday and Sunday, as well as the 7.90 Advanced Jr. Dragster class on Sunday.

5 – Ben Short

Ben Short had a successful weekend at London Dragway. On Saturday, he won his age group and then went on to win the entire race, earning a WDRA Rod Trophy in honor of his grandpa, Charlie Short. He also won his age group again on Sunday, making it down to six cars before he bowed out.

6 – Carter Jackson

Carter Jackson doubled up at Roxboro Motorsports Park this weekend to earn a spot on this week’s Top 10 list. He drove the wheels off his hot rod, parking it in the winner’s circle on both Saturday and Sunday.

7 – Peyton Huber

Peyton Huber sits in the #7 spot after winning both days of the Junior Thunder class at Bremerton Raceway.

8 – Zade Wasso

Zade Wasso doubled up at the Dog House Bracket Racing event at Redding Motorsports Park, winning on both Saturday and Sunday.

8 – Brooklyn Hop

Brooklyn Hop has been on a roll with six straight wins. This past weekend, she won on Saturday and earned a runner-up on Sunday at Brainerd International Raceway in the Junior Dragster Novice class.

9 – Lincoln McMaster

Lincoln McMaster secured a Top 10 spot after winning a shootout at the Western Conference Finals and claiming runner-up in the 11-year-old main event.

9 – Max Pavlock

Max Pavlock reached two final rounds at the Western Conference Finals, earning a win in the Wednesday race and a runner-up finish in the 6-9 year old main event.

10 – Lucas Ramsey

After winning an All Run Consolation Race last Sunday at Milan Dragway, Lucas Ramsey went on to secure a runner-up and a win at Mid Michigan Motorplex this past weekend.
