Carson Wied makes three finals at the Midwest Jr Super Series event to lead the DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance.

06/05/24 – Welcome to the DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance. Each week we rank the best Jr. racers across the country based on their weekly performances. Nominations are accepted every Monday evening on our Facebook page.

DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List

1 – Carson Wied

Carson Wied jumps to the #1 spot on this week’s top 10 list after making three final round appearances at the Midwest Jr Super Series Cordova Dragway event. He won the $5K All Run Sportsman class and the 10-12 Age Group. Carson also earned a runner-up finish in the 8.90 Index, but his motor broke before he could stage in the final.

2 – Tyler Barsema

Tyler Barsema grabs the #2 spot after doubling up at the Midwest Jr Super Series Cordova Dragway event. He captured wins in the 13 & Up Age Group and Pro Sportsman class. Additionally, he made it down to the final five cars in the Sportsman All Run $5K race.

3 – Kaiden Groves

Kaiden Groves won both days of the Spring King of the Creek $1,500-to-win Junior Dragster class, earning the #3 spot on this week’s top 10 list.

4 – Kylie Mocny

Kylie Mocny continues her winning ways by winning Saturday and Sunday this past weekend at Gainesville Dragway. If you’ve been keeping track, she has earned 14 wins in 11 straight weeks!

5 – Easton Oliveira

Easton Oliveira doubled up at the Top Gun Dragstrip NHRA Division 7 event, taking home two Wallys to earn the #5 position on this week’s top 10 list.

6 – Kennedy Sullivan

Kennedy Sullivan takes the #6 spot on this week’s top 10 list after earning a runner-up finish in the Friday Money Shootout and winning the Saturday Wally Main Event at the Top Gun Dragstrip NHRA Division 7 event.

7 – Brooklyn Hop

Brooklyn Hop sits in the #7 spot this week after winning five times over the past four weeks. Her most recent win came this past weekend at the Brainerd International Raceway JDRL Challenge.

8 – Sawyer Blevins

Sawyer Blevins grabs the #8 spot this week after achieving back-to-back weekend wins. He won this past weekend’s Saturday High Roller race at Darlington and secured a points race victory the weekend before, also at Darlington.

9 – Matthew Peterson

Matthew Peterson achieved a Top 10 showing after winning Saturday and earning a semi-final finish on Sunday at Gainesville. This is his third race in his brand new Halfscale setup.

10 (Tie) – Mackenzie Scribner

In her last three weekends out, Mackenzie Scribner has captured two wins and a runner-up finish. Her most recent win came this past weekend at the Humboldt County Dragway IHRA Sportsman Spectacular, where she brought home the medallion and Ironman.

10 (Tie) – Kolby Helms

Kolby Helms rounds out this week’s top 10 list after having a successful past two weekends. He started off at the Summit Motorsports Park PDRA race, where he qualified #2. On the way home from Norwalk, he stopped at Rockingham Dragway and picked up the Jr. Dragster win. Kolby then finished the week at Union County Dragway, where he claimed a semi-final finish.
