07/03/24 – Welcome to the DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance. Each week we rank the best Jr. racers across the country based on their weekly performances. Nominations are accepted every Monday evening on our Facebook page.

DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List

1 – Camron Nelson

DragChamp Pro Member Camron Nelson takes the #1 spot on this week’s Top 10 list after an impressive month. In the month of June, he won at Edinburg, claimed two race wins at the Western Conference Finals, and captured a win and a runner-up at the Pennington Single Shot Showdown. This past weekend, he earned a win and runner-up on the same day at the Texas Motorplex NHRA points race. Additionally, over the past month, he earned three semi-final finishes in his Junior Dragster and a string of round wins in No Box and Sportsman.

2 – Kylie Mocny

Kylie Mocny returns to the list this week after doubling up by winning both days of her class at Gainesville Dragway.

3 – Aiden Lawson

Aiden Lawson got the job done at Coles County Dragway on Saturday evening in the $1,000-to-win Seabolt Memorial Jr. Dragster race. He also appeared in Sunday’s second chance final round, earning the runner-up.

4 – Alyssa Davis

Alyssa Davis earned a runner-up position in Saturday’s $1K race and went on to win Sunday’s $1K race at the Hootenanny, securing the #4 spot on this week’s Top 10 list.

5 – Gary Bogacki 

Gary Bogacki had a successful weekend competing in his first-ever 8.90 race at I-57 Dragstrip. He won Friday night and then backed it up with a runner-up on Saturday night.

6 – Ayden Tilghman

Ayden Tilghman picked up another win at Virginia Motorsports Park this past weekend. In the last four weekends, he has reached the semi-finals or better each time.

7 – Mason Tuck

Mason Tuck holds the #7 spot after achieving back-to-back wins in his Junior Dragster. Two weeks ago, he won the Western Conference Finals, and this past weekend, he won the IHRA Sportsman Spectacular, securing his spot at the IHRA World Finals.

8 – Ean Guenthardt

Ean Guenthardt won the $1K race on Saturday at the Dragway 42 Hootenanny, earning a spot on this week’s top 10 list.

9 – Tony Virgilio Jr.

After suffering a wreck in his race car just two months ago, Tony Virgilio Jr. is back stronger than ever. Over the past three weekends, he has reached three finals, with his most recent win at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park this past weekend.

10 – Logan Simpkins

Logan Simpkins secured a Top 10 spot after reaching two final rounds in one weekend at National Trails Raceway. He finished as runner-up in both races.
