DragChamp Top 10 List

1 – Andy Schmall

Andy Schmall leads the Top 10 List this week after winning almost everything in Las Vegas last week. Schmall, competing at the Thanksgiving Bracket Nationals, won four times in five finals! He won the Pro class on Friday and Saturday while also taking runner-up honors on Sunday. Schmall also won the Friday No-Electronics Gamblers race and the Saturday High Roller race.

2 – David Hammons

David Hammons doubled up at the Dell Pollage Memorial race at State Capitol Raceway winning $10,000 on Saturday and Sunday!

3 – Joey Spence

Joey Spence had a memorable outing in Tulsa after doubling up at the Lanny Maples Double Stuffings Thanksgiving Bracket Race. Spence swept the No-Box field on Saturday winning the main event and the Shootout to grab the #3 spot.

4 – Brandon Taylor

BT grabbed a Top 10 spot this week after winning a C7 Corvette roadster at Montgomery International Raceway. Taylor finished in the Top 16 in points which placed him in the 16-car shootout with the winner taking home a Corvette roadster rolling chassis. The experienced big money bracket racer made his way to the final round where he stopped Casey Prince for the win.

5 – Jake Levatino

Jake Levatino earned a Top 10 showing this week after winning $10,000 at the Dell Pollage Memorial in South Louisiana. Jake outlasted the field Friday night to earn the big check. He was also doubled to round 6 on Saturday night and a week earlier he posted a semifinal finish (in Saturday’s $25K) at the Turkey Beach Bash.

6 – Chad Sandlin

Chad Sandlin jumps on the list after posting back-to-back final round appearances over the last two weekends. A week ago Sandlin drove to a runner-up finish at the Pennington Bros. race at Xtreme Raceway Park in Dallas. This past weekend, he won the Saturday $10K after stopping 2024 NHRA Super Stock World Champ Jimmy Hidalgo in the semifinals and the final round.

7 – Cody Pollage Thanksgiving $10K No Box Winners

In addition to Chad Sandlin, Roger Marcomb and Larry Seguin both earned $10,000 big checks at the Dell Pollage Memorial. Marcomb won No-Box on Friday while Seguin closed the weekend with a victory on Sunday.

8 – Cooter Hidalgo

2024 NHRA Super Stock World Champ Cooter Hidalgo made a splash at State Capitol Raceway on Saturday when he took two entries to the No-Box semifinals. There he spun the tires and lost to Chad Sandlin in one entry which forced a rematch in the final round. Although he came up short in the final, Cooter let it be known he’s a bad dude in bracket racing just as he is in Stock/Super Stock.
