1 – Chad Axford

Chad Axford kicked off the season with a huge performance at the West Coast Bracket Races Southwest Showdown to grab the #1 spot. Axford parked his 4-teen dragster in the winners circle Thursday for $20K and made a second $20K final round showing later in the weekend where he was runner-up to Joe Cox.

2 – Spencer Massey

Spencer Massey proved he’s more than a Top Fuel pilot after another impressive outing in his bracket dragster. Massey won Sunday’s $10K at the CP Racing Promotions Top Bulb race in Louisiana. After a semifinal finish Saturday night which saw him doubled until the quarters, Massey carried both entries into the late rounds again on Sunday. In Sunday’s race, Massey lost one entry in the quarters when he was forced to run himself before eventually winning the race.

3 – Joe Cox

Joe Cox grabs the #3 spot this week after driving his doorcar past Chad Axford to win the final $20K race of the weekend in Tucson.

4 – Buddy Ferrell

Buddy Ferrell, aka Buddy For Real, once again proved age doesn’t matter in bracket racing. Ferrell outlasted young gun Cory Gulitti in Saturday’s $20K final at the Top Bulb Extravaganza at State Capitol Raceway.

5 – Henry Roberson

Henry Roberson rolled through the bottom-bulb field in Tucson to claim a $10K payday. After struggling with engine problems last season, it’s great to see Henry start the year on a high note.

6 – Rusty Ashmore

Rusty Ashmore kicked off the CP Racing Promotions Top Bulb Extravaganza with a $10K victory Thursday night. Ashmore defeated Heath Phillips in the final round.

7 – AJ Ashe

AJ Ashe won the Top Bulber of the South Invitational Shootout race to earn the lucky seven spot this week. Ashe defeated Slate Cummings in the final round.

8 – Jake Levatino

Jake Levatino picked up $10 grand Saturday night after stopping Johnny Ezell in the $10K Shootout final.

9 – Marko Perivolaris

West coast hitter Marko Perivolaris raced his way to a $20K final in Tucson before failing to Chad Axford.

10 – Cory Gulitti

CG closes out this week’s Top 10 List after posting a runner-up to Buddy Ferrell in Saturday’s $20K final round at State Capitol. Cory bumped it .002 red in the final round.
