Ketterer Leads Winners at No-Box 660 Shootout

Ketterer, Scheckelhoff, and Fornwalt collects wins at the J Brothers Promotions 4th Annual A-1 Mulch No-Box 660 Shootout.

MOHNTON, PA- The J Brothers Promotions LLC 4th Annual A-1 Mulch No-Box 660 Shootout, presented by Magic Hat Cleaners LLC, was held June 6–8, 2025, at Maple Grove Raceway. The event featured the BNM Performance Friday $5K, Daryl Tillman Realty Group Saturday $10K, and the Sacks & Sons Sunday $5K, all for No-Box racers. In addition, there was a Chrins Automotive Friday $2K Gamblers Race and an Advanced Tree Care Friday $3K High Roller.

Junior Dragster racers were also invited to join in the fun, competing for $1,000 on both Saturday and Sunday.

Unfortunately, due to non-stop rain throughout the weekend, only the Friday $5K, $2K Gamblers Race, and $3K High Roller were completed.

BNM Performance Friday $5K

The Friday BNM Performance $5K kicked off with 250 entries and concluded with CJ Ketterer taking the win and the $5,000 prize. The runner-up was none other than Marty Flegal Jr., who delivered an impressive performance throughout the evening.

Advanced Tree Care $3K High Roller

In the Advanced Tree Care $3,000 High Roller, Nick Scheckelhoff defeated Nathan Mendenhall in the final round.

Chrins Automotive Friday Gamblers

Mike Fornwalt claimed the $2,000 win in the Chrins Automotive Friday Gamblers Race, picking up the win over Scott Smith.

Daryl Tillman Realty Group Saturday $10K

Saturday’s $10K which was continued into Sunday ended in a split & quit due to more rain. They were down 6 cars left when the race was called. Left standing was Soggy Dunn, Nick Hastings, Matt Witkowski, Dave Harvey, Rory Weney, and Tanner Kootsares.

Artim’s Automotive Saturday Junior Dragster $1K

Saturday’s $1K Artim’s Automotive Junior Dragster class, presented by Greiner Bros Heating & Cooling, had 10 cars remaining when the race was called.

Sacks & Sons LLC Sunday $5K

Sunday’s $5K came to an early end with a split & quit after the completion of the second round. Third round was ready in the lanes when rain returned, forcing the event to be called. All second-round winners were paid out.

Artim’s Automotive Sunday Junior Dragster $1K

Sunday’s $1K Artim’s Automotive Junior Dragster class, presented by Greiner Bros Heating & Cooling, ended in a split & quit once the rain resumed.

Friday & Saturday Last Female Standing

Emily Allebach was the KB Performance Last Standing Female on both Friday and Saturday, earning $100 each day along with two KB Performance gift certificates for her performance.

Sunday Last Female Standing

The KB Performance Last Female Standing on Sunday was Jeanne Northrop, who earned $100 and a KB Performance gift certificate for her strong showing.

Friday Last Bike Standing

Friday’s Last Bike Standing was Jeffrey Santin.

Santin took home $500 and a custom trophy, thanks to the generous support of the bike sponsors: Philumalee’s Fruit Orchard, S&L Landscaping, Scott’s Transmission, Keith’s Garage, and Full Spectrum Power.

Best Appearing Ride Award

The Mid Town Tire & Automotive Best Appearing Ride Award was presented to Wayne Redrow for his beautiful 1972 Nova.

No-Box Team Battle

Congratulations to the Blittersdorf’s Automotive No-Box Team Battle Champions, Team SPARE FARTS!

Jeremy Stoker, Trish Witt, Kris Conner, and Shane Sweigart pulled off a clutch victory, edging out Team Death Row (Soggy Dunn, Todd Thoman, Kurt Holland, and Dave Dissinger) by just one point.

Junior Dragster Team Battle

In the Blittersdorf’s Automotive Junior Team Battles, there was a tie for first place between Team Eckspect Nothing! (Austin Ecks and Charlotte Ecks) and Team M&M (Madison Schonberger and Michael Chirico Jr.).

The Junior Team Battles paid 100% of the entry fees back to the winning teams, and sponsor Bryan Blittersdorf generously contributed an additional $300 to the prize pot.
