Nick Folk races to glory with $250,000 victory at TB $250K
Nick Folk wheeled his way to the winner’s circle for $250,000 and a Louisville Slugger bat at the TB $250K at US 131 Motorsports Park.
MARTIN, MI – Nick Folk shined bright in the winner’s circle after conquering through the best of the best and hoisting the big $250,000 check at the TB $250K at US 131 Motorsports Park. Folk is very familiar with all different kinds of winner’s circles, NHRA and big money bracket racing, but this win marked a very special moment in his racing career.
Drew Buchner was able to grab the runner-up spot in the big $250,000 event for the second year in a row, and Joe Foley went back-to-back in Meighan Bonnett’s dragster and picked up a $50,000 win on Sunday. Zach Smith and Jeff Serra also picked up big checks, adding to the memorable weekend.

Folk Race Cars Thursday

Zach Smith drove his way to his second TB Promotions giveaway car after defeating Johnny Ezell in the final round. Both Smith and Ezell are previous giveaway car winners, and Smith was racing his American Race Cars dragster that he won at the TB $50K last year.
Woody Campbell was the semi-finalist.
Joel Young picked up the bottom bulb bonus.

Fuel Factory Friday

Jeff Serra fought his way through a field of the baddest drivers in the country and found his way to the winners circle defeating Kris Whitfield in the all-dragster final round. Serra was doubled on the ladder, where he lost an entry and carried the Overkill dragster all the way to the winner’s circle! The win was very special and sentimental to Serra, as it fell on top of his late brother Sean Serra’s 30th birthday.
KC Pesnell and David Wright were the semi-finalists.

Greg McCurry grabbed the $5,000 no-box bonus.
Moser Engineering Saturday

Nick Folk has seen many winner’s circles in his racing career and found his way to his highest-paying yet for $250,000 after defeating Drew Buchner in the final round. Folk carried both of his entries to the ladder round, where he dropped his dragster entry and carried the cobalt all the way to the winner’s circle. The win was very special for Folk, as he spends most every race weekend with his family and was able to celebrate the win with his brother, Brian, and both his parents, and on Father’s Day weekend!
Buchner was able to grab the bridesmaid spot for the second year in a row. Buchner fell short to Joe Foley in the $250K final round last year. To be able to make it to the final round for a quarter of a million dollars two years in a row is quite an accomplishment that shouldn’t be diminished!
Lane Dicken and Doug Foley Jr. were the semi-finalists.

Owen Buchner picked up the junior dragster win over Jase Wanamaker.
SWT Excavating Sunday

Joe Foley picked up yet another win at the TB $250K, and in the Bonnett-owned dragster, after defeating Nasty Nick Hastings in the $50,000 final round. Foley was our 2024 $250K champion in the same car at the same racetrack.
Brett McKay and Braden Bowden were the semi-finalists.

Hastings picked up the No-Box bonuses on both Saturday and Sunday, as well as a quarter-final finish in the Moser Engineering $250K. He earned the FTI Performance MVP Award for his efforts!

Andrew Dicken picked up the final junior dragster win of the weekend, defeating Saturday’s winner Owen Buchner in the final round.
