Lund and Vogel Top The Field At The Rock

The 10th Annual Badger Classic at Rock Falls Raceway Presented by CTech Manufacturing saw three great days of Midwest Class Racers Stock/Super Stock Action. 

Fridays Midwest Factory Finishes Race of Champions was the culmination showdown between all Midwest Class Racers event winners from the past 12 months, squaring off for a $5,000 payday. Mike Lund took down Logan Wernet in the final, and pocketed the $5,000 check. 

On Friday the Runner Ups from the previous 12 months also squared off in the Midwest Factory Finishes Last Chance Race of Champions. Brett Speer took down Steve Hutar in the final round, and walked away with $1,000 for his win. 

Saturday 101 Stock/Super Stock competitors entered competition which saw Mike Lund repeat his success from Friday. Mike Lund, defeated his brother Matt Lund in a tight final round. Mike walked away with another $5,000 for his Saturday win. 

On Sunday Troy Vogel stopped Mike Lund from a three-peat in the Quarterfinals, earning a bye to the final. In the final round Troy Vogel picked up the win over Brad Haugaard who turned it red by 7 thousands. 

Midwest Class Racers is off until August 22-24 back at Rock Falls Raceway for the NHRA D5 National Open S/SS combo presented by CTech Manufacturing and B&K Trucking.
