Zenzen and Haugaard punch their tickets at BIR

The third stop for the Midwest Class Racers series stopped at Brainerd International Raceway for the 12th Annual Paul Bunyan Classic presented by Barrett Pet Foods. 

Saturday’s field had 49 Stock/Super Stock competitors, going head to head for the final two spots in the 2025 Midwest Factory Finishes Race of Champions. 

Lance Line was Saturdays #1 qualifier, running -1.23 under the index in his C/S Mustang. 

Saturday saw Brian Zenzen take the win and the $2,000 payday over the runner up Lance Line, who walked away with a $1,000 payday. 

On Sunday, Lance Line continued his #1 qualifier streak, running -1.25 under the C/S index. 

Sunday’s final saw Brad Haugaard taking the win over Saturday’s winner Brian Zenzen. The final round came down to a .0078 MOV for Brad, who pocketed the $2,000 payday, and punched the final ticket to the 2025 Midwest Factory Finishes Race of Champions. 

The next stop on the MCR schedule is in two weeks at Rock Falls Raceway for the Midwest Factory Finishes Race of Champions and the 10th annual Badger Classic presented by CTech.
