1 – Josh Green

Josh Green claims the #1 spot on the Top 10 List this week after sweeping the $25,000 main events at the Footbrake 150 at Gulfport Dragway. Green stopped Danny Paul to win the first $25 grander of the weekend then defeated Nasty Nick Hastings in the second $25K main event to secure the top spot. A few weeks ago Josh also won the No Box bonus at the Great American $100K main event.

2 – Brandon Umberger

Brandon Umberger doubles up at Tucson to take the two spot this week! A last minute decision to head to Tucson for the Southwest Showdown proved to be the right choice as Umberger won two $5K’s over the weekend to earn a Top 10 spot.

3 – Paul Lorton

Paul Lorton also cashed in at the Southwest Showdown winning $10K in the process. Lorton has won four of the five races he’s attended this season, including a run of three straight. He currently leads the points standing at Tucson and Wild Horse Pass.

4 – Charlie Lockhart

Bottom Bulb standout Charlie Lockhart put on a show the last couple weeks. At the Southern Big Buck Nationals, Charlie posted two runner-up finishes and carried that momentum to Gulfport where he won Friday’s $3,000 race.

7 – Nasty Nick Hastings

Nasty Nick slides into the lucky seven spot after another standout performance. Nick was runner-up in Sunday’s $25,000 main event at Gulfport and was also doubled at four cars. A couple weeks earlier, Nick made the No-Box final at the Great American $100K main event.

8 – Danny Paul

Danny Paul sits in the #8 spot after his $25K runner-up finish at the Footbrake 150.

His son Gary also did well at Gulfport in his Jr dragster sharing the winners circle with his dad at the December event.

10 – The Mayor Daryl Patton

The Mayor was overlooked in last week’s Top 10 but we didn’t forget him this week. Daryl enjoyed a great weekend at the Southern Big Buck Nationals where he won the Thursday Practice Tree race and took home a $10K victory on Friday.

10 – Don Toia

Don Toia closes out this week’s Top 10 List after posting a $10,000 victory at the Southwest Showdown in Tucson.
