DragChamp Top 10 List

1 – Cooper Chun

Cooper Chun grabs the #1 spot this week after becoming the youngest winner of the Spring Fling Million! Chun, one of the most talented racers on the West Coast (or in the country for that matter), stopped Josh Pickett in the final round to win the largest payday of his career.

2 – Cory Gulitti

Cory Gulitti would have easily won the MVP award last week if the Flings offered an MVP award. The young Texan kicked off Fling week winning his second Fling Dragster Shootout. He then made it to 9 cars in the Million and closed the weekend with a runner-up in the $60K on Saturday.

3 – Justin Hof

Justin Hof continued the streak of young gun winners at the Fling when he stopped Cory Gulitti in the $60K final Saturday evening. Hof won the combined Thursday/Saturday race over a field of almost 500 racers that was spread out over a 3-day timespan.

4 – Gage Burch

Gage Burch continues to show out at the biggest events each year and the Spring Fling was no exception. Burch drove Matt Dadas’ Olds Achieva to victory in Wednesday’s $30K at the Spring Fling. This is the same car Gage drove to a runner-up finish at the OG Million last fall.

5 – Josh Pickett

Josh Pickett lands in the #5 spot after racing to a runner-up finish in the Spring Fling Million main event! He and his travel companions made up three of the last nine cars in the Million to add to his dream weekend.

6 – Kyle Cultrera

Kyle Cultrera followed his recent $40,000 victory at the Great American $100K in Gulfport with a $10,000 King of the Fling victory in Las Vegas to earn another Top 10 showing.

7 – Fling Finalists

The Spring Fling produced several notable runner-ups including Kevin Brannon in the Dragster Shootout Tuesday evening, Spencer Massey in Wednesday’s King of the Fling Shootout and Bradley Johnson in Wednesday’s $30K.

8 – Ernie Humes

EH3 makes another Top 10 showing this week after winning three times in the past two weeks. After winning last weekend at Piedmont, Humes doubled up this past weekend taking wins at Farmington on Saturday and Piedmont on Sunday.

9 – KC Pesnell

KC Pesnell doubled up at Montgomery this past weekend winning Friday’s Gamblers race and Saturday’s $7,500 race.

10 – Tony Gambardella

Tony Gambardella closes out the Top 10 List this week after making noise off the bottom the last few weeks. At the Footbrake 150, Gambardella posted a quarterfinal finish and then followed that with two victories in the following weeks at Gainesville.
