DragChamp Top 10 List
1 – Daniel Young

Daniel Young jumps to the #1 spot this week after an impressive showing at the Dream Team race in Montgomery. Young stopped Brandon Michaels in the first No Box $10,000 last Thursday night. The following night, Young returned to the No Box final round where he fell one win light short of the double taking runner-up to Lucas Walker. The former Stock Eliminator racer has quickly become one of the best bottom-bulb bracket racers in the country.
2 – GABR Dream Team Winners
The Great American Dream Team is one of the most unique races of the year and it consistently produces great story lines. This year was no different with bracket racing royalty claiming the Top Bulb Team victory. Team Williams consisting of Gary Williams, Troy Williams, Donovan Williams, Brandon Williams, and Champ McCrory outlasted a talented field to earn the Team championship. In the final round, they defeated Team Angelle consisting of John Angelle, Mike Crader, Chris “Boy Baby” Jones, Jake Hodge, and Cole Cummings.
Team Riddle consisting of Daniel Riddle, Jeff White, Tim Pace, John Burleson, and Todd Berry captured their 3rd No Box Dream Team victory! The Riddle team stopped Team Martin in the final round. The Martin Team included Chris Martin, Kenny Tyson, William Joiner, Seth Lancaster, and Braden Taylor.

3 – GABR Dream Team $25,000 Winners
In addition to the Team winners, the GABR Dream Team race crowned three $25,000 winners. Noah Lewis grabbed the first $25K check of the weekend stopping Cole Cummings in Thursday’s final. Cory Gulitti added to his already impressive 2025 season with a $25K victory on Friday over Skinny Kenny Underwood. Brandon Taylor closed out the weekend with a $25K victory over Dillan Kyle.

4 – Dream Team No Box $10,000 Winners
In addition to Daniel Young’s dominance over the first two days of the Dream Team, Lucas Walker and Kyle Rumley picked up $10,000 checks in Montgomery. Walker stopped Young in Friday’s No Box final while Rumley wheeled Goldie to the victory on Sunday over Trey Scharf.

5 – NHRA D4 LODRS Double Up Winners
The D4 doubleheader LODRS race at the Texas Motorplex was a marathon due to extreme weather which disrupted the schedule multiple times throughout the 4-day event. Nonetheless, two racers stood out above their peers taking wins in both races! 2x NHRA World Champ Darian Boesch and Phil Unruh doubled up to share the #5 spot. Boesch dominated the Top Dragster class going undefeated in both races. He even beat his dad Mario, the Sod Father, in the Race #1 final. Unruh pulled off his very own Texas two-step winning Super Gas in Race 1 and Super Comp in Race 2.

6 – $20,000 Winners
In addition to the Dream Team, there were several other big money bracket races across the country last weekend. Trey Vetter drove his Madcap powered dragster to a $20,000 victory at the West Coast Classic. On the East Coast, Jim Carty and Jason Wilson each took home $20,000 paydays from the Numidia 150.

7 – Keaton Overstreet

After finishing in second place last week on the Top 10 List, Keaton Overstreet kept his win streak alive with a win and a runner-up this past weekend. In the past few weeks, Keaton has won three times in five final round appearances.
7 – Shane Maddox

Shane Maddox doubled up at the Greer Dragway 10K’s for the second consecutive year. Maddox won both the $4K Quick 16 race and the $10K Top Bulb race for a repeat of last year’s performance at the same event.
8 – Byron Worner

Byron Worner swept the Stock/Super Stock Combo class at the Mid Atlantic race at Cecil County to earn a Top 10 showing.
8 – Scotty Gibson

Scotty Gibson doubled up at Orlando to land in the #8 spot this week.
8 – Jason Kirby

Jason Kirby picked up wins in Top and Mod to earn a Top 10 spot.
9 – Cooter Hidalgo

2024 DragChamp Driver of the Year Cooter Hidalgo made two finals at the D4 LODRS doubleheader taking the win in Stock and a runner-up in Super Stock.
9 – Cole Cummings

Cole Cummings came out of semi-retirement and showed out at Montgomery. Baby Cole was runner-up in Thursday’s $25K, runner-up in the Dream Team race, and went deep in Sunday’s $25K to earn a Top 10 spot.
10 – Henry Roberson

Henry Roberson made a ton of laps in Stickers at the West Coast Classic posting three semifinal appearances and a runner-up in five races over the weekend.
10 – Nathan Prose

Nathan Prose may very well be the most accomplished .90 racer of the 2025 season after making 5 (or maybe 6 finals) in the last couple months. This past weekend he added a runner-up finish in his beautiful Super Gas roadster at the Route 66 Nationals to add to his already impressive season in Super Gas and Super Comp.
