Crazy Eights $8Ks at the Gallstar Midwest Bracketfest

Mark your calendars for the Gallstar Bracket Races Erson Cams Midwest Bracketfest powered by Fuel Factory August 28-30, 2026 at Eddyville Raceway Park.

OSKALOOSA, IA – Gallstar Bracket Races is gearing up for the Erson Cams Midwest Bracketfest, powered by Fuel Factory, coming August 28-30, 2026, at Eddyville Raceway Park. Friday night will kick things off with Test ‘n Tune, followed by the $1,000-to-win Rick Livingston Sr. Memorial Back Tire Race. Both Saturday and Sunday will feature Twin Crazy Eights, paying $8,000-to-win each day. No Box racers will compete separately, with a No Box bonus up for grabs. Junior Dragsters are also invited to join the action and will race for $500-to-win on both Saturday and Sunday.

Rick Livingston Sr. Memorial Back Tire Race + Test n’ Tune

New for 2026 is Friday’s $1,000-to-win Rick Livingston Sr. Memorial Back Tire Race. The runner-up will earn $500, and semi-finalists will take home $100. Entry is $50 and includes one time hit, with a $20 buyback into round two. A total of 32 entries will be available at the gate.

Friday will also feature a Test ‘n Tune session from 2 PM to 8 PM for $40.

$8,000-to-win Main Events

Saturday and Sunday will each feature a Crazy Eights $8,000-to-win main event. The runner-up will earn $2,000, while semi-finalists will take home $1,000. Round money will begin with third-round winners, and the more entries, the more round money paid out.

A re-entry buyback will be available for $75, if needed. Single-day pre-entry is $135, or racers can enter at the gate for $165. Bacon Builders and Paige Pro Products are the day sponsors!

No-Box Bonus

Lem’s Welding & Fabrication No Box racers will run separate each day until only one remains. The final No Box competitor will earn a $400 No Box Bonus on both Saturday and Sunday, then will continue on into the $8,000 main event alongside the rest of the field.

JRJ Last Chance Lotto

There will also be a JRJ Last Chance Lotto available for $10 a ticket. One winner from each class will have the opportunity to be placed back into round three of competition. The last ticket drawn each day will win a $100 JRJ certificate.

Advance Transmission Jr. Dragster Shootout

The Advance Transmission Jr. Dragster Shootouts are back for both Saturday and Sunday. Each shootout will award $500 to the winner, $100 to the runner-up, and $50 to each semi-finalist. A Round 2 buyback will be available for $20. The shootouts will be all run and there will be no entry caps. Each shootout will be $50 to enter. Winners will also receive big checks and mini Gallstar trophies!
