David Wright lands in the winner’s circle for $250,000 at the TB $250K

David Wright claims his monumental weekend at the TB $250K at US 131 Motorsports Park with a $250,000 win on Saturday night.

MARTIN, MI – Prepare for takeoff! David “Space” Wright was able to fulfill a lifelong dream Saturday and etch his name onto the list of drivers able to conquer a big money win after his $250,000 win at the TB $250K at US 131 Motorsports Park.

Wright proved his way through the toughest field of drivers to date, all with one goal on their mind! Rocky Vannote and Kelly Smith also had memorable trips, claiming wins throughout the weekend.

Sunday’s events were concluded and split late afternoon due to a storm that moved in.

Thursday

Rocky Vannote drove his Vega wagon to the winner’s circle for a brand new Folk Race Cars chassis after defeating Brandon Barker in the final round. This is the second dragster warm-up race win for the Moser Engineering team, with Max Moser winning it at this very event 2 years ago.

Friday

No Box takeover! Kelly Smith fought his way through a field of the baddest drivers in the country and found his way to the winner’s circle on Friday evening after defeating Lysle Roseman in the final round.

Nick Hastings grabbed the $5,000 no-box bonus.

Vincent Tiburzi picked up the junior dragster win over Rebekah Peterson.

Saturday

David Wright landed it on the dance floor for $250,000 after defeating Blake Fuqua in the all-dragster final round. Wright laid is down .012 in the final round to capture his first big money win and add his name to a monumental list of drivers.

Nick Hastings was able to grab yet another no-box bonus over Casey Baugh in the final round.

Vincent Tiburzi picked up the junior dragster win, making it his second of the weekend.
