DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List

1 – Lane Swift

Lane Swift claims the #1 spot after an incredible weekend of racing at two different racetracks. He first picked up the Saturday night win and Best Reaction Bonus at Wichita Raceway Park before making the drive to Amarillo for the Back to School 10K, where he won the 10-12 age group and advanced to the semifinals while still doubled before claiming the main event victory. This marks Swift’s second consecutive year winning the Back to School 10K!

2 – Cayden Duell

Cayden Duell holds down the #2 spot after a spectacular performance at World Wide Technology Raceway. He parked his Junior Street Camaro in the winner’s circle twice on Saturday before hopping into his Jr. Dragster and winning the Junior Lightning class, then going on to win the runoff and take home a 75th Anniversary Diamond Edition Wally.

3 – Noah Day

Noah Day takes the #3 spot after making some noise at Dragway 42, picking up the win on Saturday and a runner-up finish on Sunday. The strong weekend also sealed the deal on the 12-17-year-old Masters Junior Dragster Championship.

4 – Collin Myers

Collin Myers earns the #4 spot after winning two Wallys in one day at the Amarillo Dragway Back to School Shootout. He first won the 13-17 age group before continuing on to win the all-run main event. He also advanced to the quarterfinals of the $10K main event. With this weekend’s results, Myers has now made six final rounds in six weekends, collecting four wins and two runner-up finishes.

5 – Bora Tork Jr.

Bora Tork Jr. picks up a spot in the Top 10 after capturing the 10-12-year-old Wally win on Saturday before continuing on to earn the Saturday main event runner-up at the Amarillo Back to School Shootout.

6 – Carter McGuire

Carter McGuire lands in the Top 10 after picking up a Division 1 win at Bristol Dragway on Saturday and advancing to the semifinals on Sunday. Just a couple of weeks earlier, he also won the 10.00 class at Elk Creek Dragway.

7 – Chestin Handy

Chestin Handy lands at the #7 spot after picking up two runner-up finishes at the Brainerd Motorsports Park Race for the Rod event. After losing a motor in the semifinals on Saturday, Chestin jumped into his sister’s 12-second car and went on to put out his older brother. He switched motors and battled through the field once again, ultimately earning another runner-up finish on Sunday with a completely new setup.

8 – Josiah Varner

Josiah Varner takes the #8 spot on the Top 10 List after winning two weekends in a row. This past weekend, he claimed a Jr. Dragster win at the Brainerd Motorsports Park Race for the Rod, following a No Box win the weekend prior.

9 – Greyson Hagood

Greyson Hagood earns a spot in this week’s Top 10 after cashing in for $1,000 at the DragCoverage “Night of Fire” event at Alabama International Dragway.

10 – Hutch Harger

Hutch Harger rounds out this week’s Top 10 List after winning the final points race at Mobile Dragway, securing the track championship and a bid to the World Finals. While one win on the weekend may not seem spectacular on its own, he went completely undefeated in the points series at Mobile, winning every race that was completed with no buybacks or lost rounds and earning the maximum points possible for the season.
