Gary Don Free | Founder & CEO
Gary Don Free is a lifelong drag racer with victories in bracket racing and at the NHRA national event level. Prior to graduating from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, Gary Don spent eight years running an automotive machine shop with his father. After graduation, Gary Don moved into the corporate world where he spent the last 20 years in senior management positions with a variety of companies from large privately held companies to Fortune 500 companies. The skills he learned on the track, in the shop, and in the corporate world are applied to DragChamp.com to promote sportsman drag racing.

Payton Cusimano | Writer
Payton Cusimano is a 20-year-old bracket racer from Venice, Florida. She races a S-10 truck in Pro at the local tracks around her home state. She is a student at the University of Tampa and is currently working on her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and Advertising. She will be graduating December 2020. After graduation, Payton plans to attend more big money bracket races and find a career possibly in motorsports public relations. Her dad races a drag bike and has helped her become the racer she is today. Payton is also the owner and creator of the female motorsports association, Chicks on Slicks.

Megan Strassweg | Writer
Megan Strassweg is a 21 year old Super Comp racer from Louisville, Kentucky. She races a 2015 American Dragster sponsored by Coolshirt Systems. Megan is a student at Western Kentucky University and is pursuing a degree in Photojournalism with plans to graduate in May 2020. Megan works at Jim Butner Auto in the Finance Department. Growing up at the racetrack, drag racing is all she has known and never plans to give up on it.

Jessica Hicks Spears | Writer
Jessica was born into a family of drag racers and fell in love with the sport at a young age. She began competing when she was 13 years old and has been hooked ever since! Her passion for drag racing has influenced her life in many ways, including meeting her husband at the World Footbrake Challenge VII. Jessica works full time as an Ultrasound Technologist but spends almost every weekend chasing win lights at IHRA and NHRA bracket races. You can find her in the staging lanes at various race tracks and events, so just look for the tall blonde and say hello!
