Halloween Spooktacular plans to pack Capital City Motorsports Park with junior dragsters
Big Daddy Ben’s Junior Dragster Halloween Spooktacular comes to Capital City Motorsports Park on Oct. 29 – Nov. 1, 2021.
MONTGOMERY, AL – The popular Big Daddy Ben’s Jr. Dragster Halloween Spooktacular moves to the new and improved Capital City Motorsports Park this year. Ben Willis and his team are bringing all the cash and fun that have become a staple of their events.
Early birds can participate in Thursday’s test and tune session, although eliminations won’t begin until Friday. Each day will feature races that are separated by age group as well as combination races that skyrocket the payout, including the $10K main event on Saturday.

Freaky Friday
Pictures by Lou 6-9 years old Bracket Race
The youngest drivers in attendance will compete for $300 to win and $100 for runner up on Friday. The entry fee is $40 and racers can buyback first or second round for $20.
Alliance Race Wear 7.90/8.90 Index
For a $75 entry fee, drivers can compete in the 7.90/8.90 index race that will pay $1,000 to win and $200 for the runner up. You better bring your A-game because there are no buybacks in this race.
CS Quick 16
Racers will pay $100 to compete in the CS Quick 16 race, but will receive $50 back if they do not qualify. The winner will take home $1,000 while the runner up earns $200. There will not be any buybacks.
Stevens and Son Locksmiths All Run Bracket
The highest Friday payday of $1,500 will go home with the driver who wins the All Run Bracket Race. The runner up will earn $300 and there will be first or second round buybacks available for $40. The entry fee for this race will be $75.
Mike Bos Racing 2nd Annual Parents Race
After the four junior dragster races are contested, the parents will get their chance to turn on some win lights.

Spooky Saturday
The bracket racing ante is increased across the board with each age group racing for $1,000 to win and $200 for the runner up on Saturday. The 6-9 class is sponsored by Stevens and Son Locksmiths, CS sponsors the 10-12 class, and Alliance Race Wear will sponsor the 13 and older class. The Skull Bandits Golf Cart race will also take place on Saturday.
Guaranteed $10K Main Event
The feature event on Saturday will cost $200 to enter but pays $10,000 to the winner and $1,000 to the runner up. Double entries are allowed and drivers can buyback first or second round by paying $100.
No electric cars will be permitted.

Scary Sunday
The weekend will conclude with two additional bracket races on Sunday.

The 6-9 year old winner on Sunday will pick up $300 while the runner up earns $100. The entry fee is $40 and drivers can buyback first or second round for $25.
Mike Bos Racing 10 and Up
Drivers who are 10 years and older will compete together on Sunday for a $1,500 purse. The runner up will take home $300.
It will cost $75 to enter and first or second round buybacks will be available for $40.
