This week’s Jr. Racer Spotlight is all about Florida Junior Dragster driver, Jerriana Pollard.
COCOA, FL- Jerriana Pollard first got behind the wheel of a Junior Dragster four years ago when she was introduced to it by her Mom and Dad. In 2016, her parents bought her first dragster when she was only 6 years old and immediately started attending test and tune sessions to get some practice. Jerriana entered competition for the first time in late 2019 and her first full season of competition was 2020.
She currently runs the Intermediate Junior Dragster, 8.90 Index and N/T Junior classes at various racetracks including Orlando Speedworld (OSW) and Bradenton Motorsports Park.

About her Dragster
Jerriana’s current race car is a 2001 Quick Kid chassis custom painted by Liquid Lenny’s that they have owned for two years. It has a Blockzilla engine with a Shockwave clutch on board which is set up to run 8.90s. They have recently added a wing, parachute, and dial-in board that was custom fabricated by 22 FAB.
Future Goals and Aspirations
With many seasons ahead, Jerriana has some future accomplishments in mind before she ages out of Junior Dragsters. She would like to win a Track Championship at OSW and win the NHRA Southeast Division 2 Race of Champions. She would also like to dominate the N/T Junior class and become the next N/T Junior Champion.
Jerriana plans to race Junior Dragsters until she ages out and is already looking to take over her Mom’s Mustang to run Jr. Street once she turns thirteen in order to get seat time so she can go heads up racing alongside her Dad.
