Racers Win Big at AFCO 3rd Annual Independence Showdown
Eleven racers cashed in wins at the FRBR Promotions’ AFCO 3rd Annual Independence Showdown presented by C2 Competition Converters & Machining.
CATAWISSA, PA- FRBR Promotions held their 3rd Annual AFCO Independence Showdown presented by C2 Competition Converters & Machining July 1-3, 2022 at Numidia Dragway. The three-day event featured triple $20K’s for Top Bulb, triple $10K’s for No-Box, and triple $2K’s for Junior Dragsters. In addition, there was also a $5K Top Bulb 64-Car Shootout, $2,500-to-win No-Box 64-Car Shootout, and a $700-to-win Junior Dragster 32-Car Shootout.
Next up on the schedule for the FRBR Promotions’ team is the Competitive Suspension Door Wars, presented by BNM Performance And Machining. The event will take place August 11-14, 2022 at Maryland International Raceway.

Friday Results
Top Bulb
Vince Musolino captured the first $20K KKC Performance Top Bulb win of the weekend over Tim Markoglu.
Jason Hoff was the semi-finalist.
No Box
In Friday’s RoadRunner Race Fuels $10K No Box, Matt Ricchezza claimed the win over Kyle Murray.
Martin Flegal was the semi-finalist.
Junior Dragster
Jackson Greiner cashed in for $2K by getting the win in Greiner Bros. Heating & Cooling Junior Dragsters on Friday night. Bobby Pennabaker Jr was the runner-up and Logan Anderson was the lone semi-finalist.
Saturday Results
Top Bulb
In Saturday’s KKC Performance Top Bulb, Brock Moshier picked up the $20K win over Dylan Biondo.
Bob Kolibsky & Mike Barber were the semi-finalists.
No Box
Lee Zane claimed the RoadRunner Race Fuels Saturday $10K No Box win over Erin Thimm.
Brandon Michaels & Austin Youndt were the semi-finalists.
Junior Dragster
James Pasquariello picked up the $2K Saturday Greiner Bros. Heating & Cooling Junior Dragster win over Gavin Shoemaker.
Nathan Mendenhall was the semi-finalist.
Top Bulb 64-Car Shootout
Jeff Krushinskie captured the Blittersdorf’s Automotive Top Bulb 64 $5K Shootout over Stevie “Sidewinder” Dustin.
Peter Laino & Vinny Branca were the semi-finalists.
No Box 64-Car Shootout
Joe Dedrick claimed the Blittersdorf’s Automotive $2,500-to-win No Box 64 Shootout victory over Brad Northrop.
The semi-finalists were Matt Ricchezza & Kurt Holland.
Junior Dragster 32-Car Shootout
In the Blittersdorf’s Automotive Junior Dragster 32 Shootout, Charlie Blittersdorf captured the $700 win over Cody Shondelmyer.
Emily Stalba was the lone semi-finalist.
