Ryan Barnes drove his way through a tough field of dragsters to find himself in the final round paired up with Aaron Disinger. Both drivers were strong all day long, but Barnes came out on top and picked up the last win of the weekend.
In the semi-final round, Barnes was paired up with Sean Serra on the dragster side while Disinger was paired up with Dave Connolly on the door-car side.
In the battle of the dragsters, Barnes defeated Sean Serra. Barnes had the starting line advantage and lit up the scoreboard with a 4.479 on his 4.46 dial-in to go to the final round.
On the door-car side, Disinger defeated Dave Connolly where he and Connolly were .001 apart on the tree & Disinger ran 6.208 on his 6.20 dial-in to head to the final round.
In the final round, Disinger had the starting line advantage, .003 to .009, but took too much stripe to break out .001 where Barnes sealed his 4.480 at 151 mph into the final win-light of the evening.
Congratulations to both drivers on an excellent day of competition to finish off a great weekend of racing!
ABOUT SFG PROMOTIONS, INC: SFG is the brainchild of racer and promoter, Kyle Riley. “I had a vision to offer racers the chance to race for big money that the average racer could not afford, but I give God all the credit for the idea because it was sent from God,” states Riley (SFG stands for Sent From God). Riley adds, “until SFG came about, your average racer couldn’t afford the chance to run for $50k or $100k because it was out of their price range.
I wanted your everyday bracket racer to know what it feels like to stage up for that kind of money. A lot of people think I’m crazy, but I’ve always felt it’s better to give than to receive. The racers have really supported SFG in its first years, so I want to show them that I really appreciate their support so I raised the payouts and lowered the entry fees. Everyone will see the better SFG does, the more the racer will benefit from our success.”
