LODRS Division 5 Champions
The Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series West Central Division 5 crowned their champions at the end of 2021 with Bruno Massel leading the list.
WEST CENTRAL DIVISION 5 – The West Central LODRS Division finished their season at the end of 2021 and crowned champions in each class.

Bruno Massel, Scott Burton, Jeff Cheney, Don Nichols, Tony Leonard, Bradley Johnson, Allen Firestone, and Gordon Fangmeyer were all crowned champions in their respective classes after having gold worthy seasons!

2021 West Central Division 5 Champions
Competition Eliminator – Bruno Massel

Bruno Massel finished the year strong with 414 points, totaling out to a win at Topeka and several late round finishes throughout the year.
Doug Engels finished second with 371 points and Matt Harris finished third with 273 points.
Super Stock – Scott Burton
Scott Burton finished the year with 346 points, totaling out to several late round finishes throughout the season.
Tim Nicholson finished second with 309 points and Wyatt Wagner finished third with 297 points.
Stock Eliminator – Scott Burton
Scott Burton finished the year with 373 points, totaling out to a win at Denver and Montana.
Larry DeForrest finished second with 350 points and Jamey Picht finished third with 350 points.
Super Comp – Jeff Cheney
Jeff Cheney finished the year with 351 points, totaling out to several late round finishes throughout the year.
Gary Stinnett finished second with 307 points and Tony Leonard finished third with 307 points.
Super Gas – Don Nichols
Don Nichols finished the year with 340 points, totaling out to several late round finishes throughout the year.
Rod Wolter finished second with 339 points and Bradley Johnson finished third with 319 points.
Super Street – Tony Leonard
Tony Leonard finished the year with 319 points, totaling out to a win at Topeka along with several late round finishes throughout the season.
Chuck Lowry Jr. finished second with 318 points and Jordan Pratt finished third with 309 points.
Top Dragster – Bradley Johnson

Bradley Johnson finished the year with 343 points, totaling out to a win at Las Vegas along with several late round finishes throughout the year.
Afton Swanson finished second with 314 points and Victoria Johnson finished third with 290 points.
Top Sportsman – Allen Firestone

Allen Firestone finished the year with 302 points, totaling out to a win at Houston along with several late round finishes throughout the year.
Kelly Land finished second with 292 points and JJ Heber finished third with 291 points.
Sportsman Motorcycle – George Fangmeyer
George Fangmeyer finished the year with 338 points, totaling out to several late round finishes throughout the season.
Beau Drexler finished second with 316 points and Patrick Roetto finished third with 284 points.


Megan Bohannon is a 25 year old Super Comp racer from Louisville, Kentucky. She races a 2015 American Dragster with a 648 Oakley Motorsports Engine. Growing up at the racetrack, drag racing is all she has known and never plans to give up on it.
