9/28/22 – Welcome to the DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance. Each week we rank the best Jr. racers across the country based on their weekly performances. Nominations are accepted every Monday evening on our Facebook page.

DragChamp Jr. Racer Top 10 List

1 – Ty Janousek

Big Ty Janousek leads the Jr. Racer Top 10 List this week after winning the Division 4 IHRA Championship over the weekend. This was Ty’s second D4 finals victory this month as he also won the NHRA championships a couple of weeks ago. In addition to his IHRA victory on Saturday, Big Ty also snagged a runner-up finish in Friday’s Gambler’s race.

2 – Kayslee Price

Kayslee Price grabs the #2 spot this week after a big weekend at the NHRA Division 7 Jr. ET Finals in Vegas. Price won the Race of Champions and followed with a runner-up in the ET Finals. This was her third final in two weeks at LVMS as she also won a bracket race there a week ago.

3 – Ryan Alexander

Ryan Alexander lands in the three spot this week after making three finals in two weeks. Alexander grabbed the W at Mobile Dragway over the weekend after picking up a win and a runner-up the previous week at the King of the Coast race in Gulfport.

4 – Braden Peters

Braden Peters secured a Top 10 spot after doubling up at the IHRA Division 5 ET Finals. Peters won the Gambler’s race and the ET Finals at US131 to punch his ticket to the IHRA World Finals.

5 – Hayden Land

Hayden Land had a big weekend at Silver Dollar Raceway where he swept the Jr. Street class and added another trophy with his Jr. dragster!

6 – Mason Phlegar

Mason Phlegar won on back-to-back weekends at Las Vegas to earn a Top 10 showing. Phlegar won the bracket race a week ago at LVMS and followed it up with a victory in the 13-14 class at the D7 Jr. ET Finals.

7 – Cadence Rodrigue

Cadence Rodrigue earned her first Wally on Saturday when she won the Race of Champions at Mission Raceway Park in Canada. She completed the weekend double after winning the Sunday Cash Bash!

8 – Kabren Jackson

Kabren Jackson doubled up at Onawa Dragway to earn a Top 10 spot this week.

9 – Charlie “Choo”

Charlie “Choo” won the 11.90 class on back-to-back weekends to earn yet another Top 10 nod. He followed up his victory last weekend at the King of the Coast in Gulfport with a victory at his home track, State Capitol Raceway, this past weekend.

10 – Wyatt Bacon

Wyatt Bacon closes out the Jr. Racer Top 10 List this week after racing to two finals at Byron Dragway. Bacon earned a Wally in the first race on Saturday and also won the evening race to secure his 1st track championship!
