1 – Rayce Kidd

Rayce Kidd dominates the West Coast Classic at Famoso Dragstrip in Bakersville, Calif. to earn the #1 spot on the Top 10 List. Kidd collected two $10K paychecks on the weekend in three finals. His run began in Friday’s $10K where he earned his first big check of the weekend. On Sunday, Kidd took both of his entries to the final round for the $10K win and runner-up! I’ve been telling everyone this young man is one of the best bracket racers in the country and he continues to prove it.

2 – Lucas Walker

Lucas Walker grabs the two spot this week after an incredible performance at the Turkey Beach Bash at Gulfport Dragway. Lucas was deep in both races on the weekend but really showed out on Sunday. After battling through a tough No-Box field, Walker joined the Top Bulb class in round 7 and continued laying down amazing laps. After making his way to the final round (round 10), Walker squared off against Kyle Rumley in a door car shootout for $40K. Lucas was perfect, dead zero in the final to claim the huge $40 grand payday!

3 – Jeff Serra

The most successful bracket racer over the last two years hopped a plane, flew across the country to California, jumped in a car he’d never seen (Shane Thompson’s dragster), and won $20,000. That’s right, Jeff Serra worked his magic once again and this time on a brand new stage for him. Serra decided to mix it up with the best racers the West Coast had to offer and the result was the same, him standing in the winners circle.

4 – Andy Schmall

Andy Schmall continues to show out at big money races west of the Mississippi. Competing at the West Coast Classic, Schmall put his Yellow Banana Beretta in two finals on the weekend. He picked up a $5,000 win and a $5,000 runner-up.

5 – CW Hoefer

CW Hoefer lands in the Top 5 this week after making two finals in Bakersville. Hoefer, raced to a win in the Thursday No-Box shootout and also snagged a runner-up in Saturday’s $7,500 main event.

6 – Jesse Marceaux

Jesse Marceaux has been on a roll since acquiring his dragster. The talented Louisiana runner has been a constant fixture in winners circles across the south over the last year. On Friday, he rolled through 10 rounds of competition to claim the $5K Warm-Up race win at the Turkey Beach Bash at Gulfport Dragway.

7 – Kyle Rumley

Kyle Rumley secured the seven spot this week after racing to a $40K runner-up in Gulfport Sunday night. After losing his No-Box entry early, Rumley carried his Top Bulb entry all the way to the final where Lucas Walker laid down nothing total against him. Rumley still earned a big payday for his efforts.

8 – Steve Shearer

Steve Shearer’s decision to join the footbrake crowd last weekend turned out to be a great decision when he raced to the $7,500 main event win at the West Coast Classic. Shearer, driving Kyle Rizzoli’s Camaro, took down CW Hoefer in the final to earn the big payday.

8 – Roger Phillips

Roger Phillips has enjoyed a wildly successful season bracket racing this year and that concluded with a $5K victory on Friday night. Phillips, no stranger to the Top 10 List, has been a player at a number of big money West Coast events this season.

9 – Dale Toros

Dale Toros, competing in his unconventional front-engine dragster, had a big weekend at the West Coast Classic. Toros made two final round appearances starting with a runner-up in the Thursday Shootout and ending with a $20K runner-up to Jeff Serra on Saturday.

10 – Taylor Bowling

The Bottom Bulb field at the Turkey Beach Bash was absolutely nasty. The field included a who’s who of bottom bulb racers and Taylor was still able to make it to the finals in both races. He fell to Taylor Pofahl in Friday’s $5K and then to Lucas Walker in the Sat/Sun $40K No-Box final.
