Gatwood & Henry Win $20K at Turkey Beach Bash

Barclay, Gatwood, and Henry captured wins at the BTE King of the Coast Turkey Beach Bash at Gulfport Dragway.

GULFPORT, MS- Racers from near and far headed to Gulfport Dragway for the BTE King of the Coast Turkey Beach Bash on November 17-19, 2023. The event featured two $20,000-to-win main events with buy one, get one entry fees. In addition, there was also a $3,000-to-win Warm-up race on Friday to kick off the weekend.

Friday $3K Warm Up

J.R. Barclay of Henderson, TN took the Friday $3,000 win over Jesse Marceaux of Lafayette, LA.

Saturday $20K

Gant Gatwood of Mobile, AL picked up the $20,000.00 Saturday win over Matthew Richard of Luling, LA.

AJ Ashe and J.R. Barclay were the semi-finalists.

Sunday $20K

Wayne Henry of Central, LA captured the $20,000.00 Sunday win over TJ Tracey of Drummonds, TN.

Henry had to run himself in the semi-finals and Luke Bogacki was the other semi-finalist.
