Jr Racers Claim Wins at MJSS Stars & Stripes Challenge II

Eleven Jr Drag Racers captured wins at the Midwest Jr Super Series Stars & Stripes Challenge II at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. 

BROWNSBURG, IN- The Midwest Jr Super Series made a stop at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park on June 16-18, 2023 for Race #2 of the season, the Stars & Stripes Challenge II. The event featured numerous Junior Dragster classes including Age Groups, Outlaw 330, Q16, Indexes, Sportsman, and Pro Sportsman. See results below!

Race #3 will be August 5-6, 2023 at Cordova International Raceway in Illinois.

Saturday Results

Outlaw 330

Austin Vincent picked up the Outlaw 330 win over Brent Wagner.

Quick 16

In Quick 16, Tyler Wied claimed the final round win over Bobbi Kerwein.

Emma Wyman was the #1 Qualifier.

13 & Up Age Group

Evan Muchler earned the 13 & Up Age Group final round win over Blaine Todd.

10-12 Age Group

Carson Wied defeated Kainen Morgan in the 10-12 Age Group final round.

6-9 Age Group

In the 6-9 Age Group final, Ethan Russell picked up the win over Aspyn Dhom.

Sportsman

In the Sportsman class, Kane Kern claimed the final round win over Jaxon Brown.

Jaxon Brown was also the 6-9 Sportsman winner.

Eli Wiggins picked up the 7.90 Index win over Kaden Bouchie.

8.90 Index

Carson Wied defeated Landon Brown in the 8.90 Index final round.

11.90 Index

Reed Carpenter claimed the 11.90 Index final round win over Gary Bogacki.

13.90 Index

In the 13.90 Index class, Grayson Hopley captured the final round win over Luke Todd.

Pro Sportsman

In Pro Sportsman, Tyler Wied earned the final round win over Cade Rienschield.

Cohen Reed was the 6-9 Pro Sportsman winner.

Perfectly Strange Award

Benji Matthews and Mia Rybarski both received Perfectly Strange Awards.
